Notts 263-5 v Yorks
Jack White has the new ball for Yorkshire, but Ishan Kishan looks comfortable enough for the home side.
Warwickshire v Somerset 241-2
It has taken 115 balls, a lot slower than Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Josh Davey who opened this morning, but Somerset will not worry yet and will credit Ed Barnard particularly for how tightly he has bowled since eventually being given a go after 50 overs.
The softer the ball is getting, the slower it is running across the outfield of course.
Still 17 overs until a new one is permitted.
Durham v Sussex 267-8
A second life for James Coles as Bas de Leede lets the ball slip out of his grasp off Ben Raine.
That's the second time he's been put down off Raine.
They scamper a single and Coles goes to 96.
Leicestershire v Glamorgan 261-4
Maybe it is a Kookaburra ball specific ploy, but oddly Leicestershire did not take the new ball after 80 overs.
Instead allowing a few extra overs of spin with the old cherry - including Rishi Patel's first bowl in professional cricket.
Then taken with 84 overs gone, Chris Wright had first use, now Logan van Beek from t'other end.
Durham v Sussex 257-8
Jofra Archer is ready to receive his first ball in County Cricket for more than four years.
It is down the leg side from Ben Raine and we can now focus on James Coles trying to get to three figures - he is 90 not out.
The new ball is taken by Durham and it is in the hands of Matthew Potts.

The players are back out now.
There was just one cloud causing concern but it's bright sunshine now.
We were off for about 10 minutes but the over rate is plus four so we should still finish pretty much on time.
Lancashire v Kent 213-3
Deja vu on the north west coast.
Rain stopped play after lunch earlier - and it's done the same after tea.
Frustration for Kent who may well feel they'd have at least a couple of batting points in the bag if not for the weather today.
Haynes lbw b Hill 18 (Notts 253-5 v Yorks)
George Hill nips one back into the front pad of Jack Haynes and that looks very out.
The umpire agrees and Nottinghamshire are five down.
Worcs 209 v Surrey 4-0
Off we go then, Ryan Patel and Dom Sibley opening the batting for Surrey.
Jacob Duffy runs in for the first ball and it's a nice gentle one for Patel to send away to the cover boundary for four.

I live in central Gloucester, one day I was playing cricket in my driveway with my cousin from South Africa, when the wonderful Mr Lawrence was passing by, so he stopped and bowled an over in my driveway, I was a bit annoyed because my cousin only let me face one of his balls and he hogged the "batting crease"! RIP Syd
Zack Pandor
Very sad to hear of the passing of Syd Lawrence. When I was 10 years old I moved to the west country and started at a new school. I quickly joined the cricket team and was at the top of my overly long run up (given my military medium pace) when my coach started chuckling. He decided I should not be called Edward Lawrence anymore, but "Sid". The name stuck like glue and I have been "Sid" ever since. My parents are the only ones who try in vain to keep "Edward" going. Aged 17, I turned up to a game late after an AS level exam and my coach, smiling, announced "Sid Lawrence.. meet Syd Lawrence!" As he introduced the opposition coach, who was about three times my size, I shook his hand, which completely enveloped mine. I was so nervous to have met the man who gave me my new name that I got bowled third ball for a duck... That's the excuse I continue to use anyhow. Thanks Sid for all you did for the game. I'll try to do the name justice.
"Sid" Lawrence, Cambridge
Thanks to all for sharing the wonderful stories of Syd we've received today...
Robinson lbw Raine 9 (Durham 257-8 v Sussex)
Ollie Robinson is pinned lbw by Ben Raine.
Out comes Jofra Archer for the first time with the bat for Sussex since May 2021 and in he goes again - the umpires have called the players off and the covers are coming on as the rain threatens to start.
However, I will point out it isn't raining yet...
Notts 246-4 v Yorks
An action-packed George Hill over.
Ishan Kishan belts a gorgeous cover drive to the fence before latching onto a short one and taking four more.
Hill, probably frustrated, then hits Kishan in the unmentionables with a better directed delivery.
The India international goes to the ground in pain, but gathers himself to help the final ball of the over to fine leg for another boundary.
Leicestershire v Glamorgan 251-4
81 overs bowled and Leicestershire are turning to a new bowler; Rishi Patel for some part-time off-spin.
Ben Kellaway is 7* off 24 balls but I reckon this may encourage him and Colin Ingram (29* off 77 balls) to be a bit more positive with just 30 overs remaining for bonus points to be collected.
Worcs 209 v Surrey
A couple of lusty blows from Jacob Duffy give us a bit of entertainment before he's cleaned up by Jordan Clark and the home side are dismissed for 209.
Matthew Waite's 68 is the stand out performance from Worcestershire with Henry Nicholls (31) and Fateh Singh's late unbeaten 26 putting some respectability on things.
Matthew Fisher (3-34) and Jordan Clark (3-38) are the pick of the Surrey bowlers.
We will have 15 overs of Surrey batting this evening.
Warwickshire v Somerset 218-2
Ed Barnard, as expected, has bowled very well.
Thus far without reward, four overs just for eight, with minimum fuss and lots of tight leaves.
His good bowling and there being two new batters means the scoring rate is somewhat slower, but Somerset are still just about halfway towards 450 with 58 (of the 110 before bonus points cease) overs faced so far.
Durham v Sussex 254-7
A batting point for Sussex.
We now have Ollie Robinson batting for the visitors and Ollie Robinson keeping wicket for the home side.
Sussex 250-7 v Durham

The lights have just come on in CLS. It's got very gloomy and there are lots of threatening clouds about. It's very windy too.
Durham can take the new ball in two deliveries, but the runs have dried up and Jack Carson has just been caught behind off Bas De Leede on two.
They have lost three wickets since tea for just 30 runs, but have reached a batting point. Durham will feel it's been their day though, especially with the Kookaburra ball!
Gloucestershire 187 v Derbyshire
Spinner Jack Morley has had an inspired day with the ball for Derbyshire.
He ends with superb figures of 6-55 by removing James Bracey (47).
Cameron Bancroft (68) top-scored for the hosts, who fail to garner a single batting point.
Carson c O Robinson b de Leede 2 (Durham v Sussex 246-7)
This is not great from Sussex.
Four balls before the new ball is due Jack Carson gets something on a Bas de Leede delivery and Ollie Robinson takes the catch.
Three wickets for de Leede now and Sussex have lost three wickets for 26 runs.
Essex 228-6 v Hants
Tilak Verma's first proper action for Hampshire is with the ball.
The 22-year-old has played plenty of white ball cricket for India, but Charlie Allison isn't fussed by that and belts him back over his head for four.
Allison now has 70 from 139 deliveries.
