    Derbyshire's Alex Thomson has taken a couple of wickets as the visitors have turned the game well in their favour at Gloucestershire - the hosts put on 68 for the opening wicket but have dropped to 119-6.

    Middlesex have done almost the opposite at Northants - started badly to slip to 33-3 but recovering well to approach a first batting point at 233-6 with the partnership between Joe Cracknell (29no) and Luke Hollman (41no) at 73 runs and counting.

    Matthew Potts finds the edge of John Simpson's bat and it's a regulation catch at slip, well it should be but it hits the grass as Will Rhodes fails to hang on and, just to make matters worse,for the bowler it goes for four as well.

    Potts boots the ball back to the wicketkeeper as his final delivery of the over is played back to him.

    Joe Cracknell and Luke Hollman are leading a decent Middlesex rally at Northants. The visitors were 33-3 and 95-4 but have clambered to 207-6 thanks partly to this 47 partnership.
