150 up for Sussexpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 22 June
Durham v Sussex 159-4
James Coles is still there on 38 with his skipper John Simpson helping out.
Well actually he's more than helping out as he clouts one for six.
Tributes paid after death of ex-Glos and England bowler David 'Syd' Lawrence
Jofra Archer out for lively 31 in first red-ball game since 2021 for Sussex
Record England wicket-taker James Anderson captains Lancs for first time
Kohler-Cadmore hits 104 as Somerset dominate at Edgbaston; bottom side Worcs all out for 209 against second-placed Surrey

James Coles is still there on 38 with his skipper John Simpson helping out.
Well actually he's more than helping out as he clouts one for six.
Lancashire v Kent 105-2
There will be a 15:15 BST resumption at Blackpool.
Rain interruptions are not going to help Lancashire's hopes of ending their winless start to the County Championship season.
What will interim skipper James Anderson have up his sleeve when they return?
Worcs 115-5 v Surrey
Mitchell Santner seems to be finding his range now after a ropey first over.
He sends one into Ethan Brookes' pads as he tries the reverse sweep - a big shout for lbw - not out.
Warwickshire v Somerset 129-0
Corey Rocchiccioli could have done better off his own bowling there, but Tom Kohler-Cadmore shuffles down and belts it past him and Che Simmons at mid off for four before then doing the same but better, this next one getting hit into the stands for six - hence a delay for ball checking and then a change.
I had just been saying the over rate was good, this ball change has taken four minutes!
Worcs 115-5 v Surrey
Don't blame the messenger if this jinxes things but Matthew Waite and Ethan Brookes are batting nicely here.
Waite is the main aggressor while Brookes is a little more conservative with his approach.
They have added 28 runs for the sixth wicket so far but Worcestershire need a lot more.
Leicestershire v Glamorgan 166-2
Asa Tribe has surpassed his first-class best and now notched his maiden first-class century.
The Jersey international gets there with a short ball on leg stump from Liam Trevaskis pulled away for two.
Even in these conditions a top effort from him in just his ninth Championship match, 158 balls, 14 fours and one six for the 21-year-old.
Warwickshire v Somerset 118-0
Josh Davey hits Corey Rocchiccioli down the ground for six with a magnificent shuffle down the wicket to get to the pitch of a not-badly-pitched ball.
This by the way is Somerset's first first-innings 100-run opening partnership since Notts at home in April 2024 (111 by Matt Renshaw and Sean Dickson that day).
Lancashire v Kent 105-2
Been almost two hours since we saw action in Blackpool but the covers are coming off...
Ibrahim c O Robinson b Conners 5 (Durham v Sussex 140-4)
A first wicket in Durham colours for Sam Conners.
Daniel Ibrahim gets the edge and Ollie Robinson dives to take a fine catch in front of first slip.
Durham on top now after Sussex won the toss and batted.
Notts 131-2 v Yorks
Ben Slater has struck eight fours in his innings so far
Heads in hands in the Yorkshire cordon as George Hill finds the outside edge of Joe Clarke's bat, but it drops short of first slip.
Ben Slater has been untroubled at the other end, he has 59 from 132 deliveries.
Jack Morley is having quite the day for Derbyshire in Bristol, taking 3-27 as Gloucestershire have slipped from 68-0 to 86-3 in the clash between fourth-placed Glos and their second-placed visitors.
Miles Hammond went for just one not long after Morley bowled Ollie Price for 10.
Middlesex have lost another wicket at Northants, Ben Geddes departing for 27 off the bowling of Justin Broad and, at 181-6, they are still a far way off any batting points.
Not the start interim Middlesex head coach Dane Vilas would have been hoping for.
Essex 148-4 v Hants
Charlie Allison charges Liam Dawson and launches it inside-out over extra cover for six.
Glorious.
Warwickshire v Somerset 110-0
Great start from Corey Rocchiccioli, the Western Australian offie, straight on the money. Josh Davey attempts a reverse sweep fourth ball, but maybe just hit him outside the line of off stump.
A rare maiden to start.
Durham v Sussex 138-3
James Coles has quietly got himself to 33 at Chester-le-Street.
He's a very good one-day player and is showing up well here as well, six fours in his innings so far.
We have sunshine at the Riverside but a mass of threatening dark cloud is on the horizon.
Worcs 110--5 v Surrey
Mitchell Santner's first ball in the Championship for Surrey is a pulled-down long-hop on leg stump.
Matthew Waite gives it what it deserves - four runs.
Two balls later it's short and on leg stump - eat, sleep, repeat - four runs.
Warwickshire v Somerset 110-0
Maybe the ECB put these two kookaburra rounds in now just so that the T20 line-ups could have two four-day rounds to bat T20-style with more overs to see how long they can last?
Tom Kohler-Cadmore uses the same trigger, same pick up and same bop down the ground for six there off Ethan Bamber that he has in the seven Blast games this summer.
So effortlessly done now, the older members in the press box exhale surprised, but I am not really - 'It's the way he plays' as they say!
Worcs 102-5 v Surrey
Ethan Brookes slashes at one outside off stump and Ryan Patel shells the catch in the slips.
It went like a rocket - that's two catches put down by Surrey since lunch.
We're going to see Mitchell Santner for the first time.
Worcs 100-5 v Surrey
Ethan Brookes and Matthew Waite are the men charged with trying to repair the damage for Worcestershire.
Waite looks like he wants to put bat to ball if it's there to be hit.
They bring up the three figures with a tickle down to long leg for a single.
Warwickshire v Somerset 100-0
You would think the constant flux and change in the openers would disrupt them, but the last few games have seen Somerset far more sensible when they have had supposed lower order batters/bowlers batting at the top.
Not Lewis Gregory (on paternity leave) but Tom Kohler-Cadmore (59*) is benefiting from the solid technique of Josh Davey (33*) at the top today.
There are plenty more runs out there for both.
Essex 129-4 v Hants

BBC Essex
In recent years, I can't think of a better signing Essex have made from another side than Matt Critchley.
