  5. Can Norris beat Verstappen?published at 12:59 British Summer Time 5 July

    Sam Bird
Formula E driver on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

As much as I would like Lando to do it [win the title], it's an awfully long way back that he's starting from. Max Verstappen is not going to not finish on the podium, realistically. If Lando wins, Max will probably come second - that's kind of the way it's looking right now.

Lando would have to beat Max pretty much every weekend until right at the end of the season to be there or thereabouts. Can I realistically see that happening? I'd love to say yes, but I think it's a very tall order.

  8. 'So many McLaren fans at Silverstone'published at 12:54 British Summer Time 5 July

    Jennie Gow
    F1 pit-lane reporter

I'm just walking down to the McLaren garage, which is almost hidden, actually, which is a bit of a shame. They're at the far end of the paddock in the pit lane so the fans that want to see them, can't really get a good view into their garage because they're under the pit lane exit.

As we walked in this morning, so many McLaren fans - like nothing I have experienced in the past. I've been coming here for quite some time - it was black and white when I first started coming! - but now it's very much papaya.

  11. Tsunoda spinpublished at 12:50 British Summer Time 5 July

    Sam Bird
Formula E driver on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

A slow-speed spin at what used to be the final corner of the Silverstone circuit. For me, that looks like... with these cars being so high-tech now, the engineers will work together to maybe have different brake biases, and then the way brake bias then shifts through the corner at any given corner on the track.

It looks to me at that specific corner (Turn Seven), Tsunoda has had too much of a shift going rearwards on the brake bias as he's blending into to the corner. And as he's just squeezed onto the brake pedal, it's immediately sent the rear overtaking the front.

  13. Tyre Talkpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time 5 July

What tyres have Pirelli picked out for the trip to Silverstone?

The hardest range of tyres, of course, for an exciting circuit!

The C1 (white, hard), C2 (yellow, medium) and C3 (red, soft) are the tyres of choice for the British Grand Prix.

As always, drivers will get eight sets of the soft tyre, three sets of the medium tyre and two sets of the hard tyres.

The green intermediates and blue full wets are also on hand if needed, you never know with the British weather
