    Harry Came has looked the most fluent of Derbyshire openers against the Leicestershire attack so far in Derby and is unbeaten on 33 from 56 balls.

    Derbyshire still trail by 354 runs, though.

    Libby has one century and two half-centuries in three matches and is batting at an average of 63.

    Pakistan seamer Hasan Ali can scarcely believe he has not got Liam Dawson lbw after he strikes the Hampshire batter on the toe with a full delivery.

    He appeals excitedly then, in the manner of Paolo di Canio, puts his hands together and prays to the umpire to change his mind.

    Still only the one breakthrough for Somerset at Taunton today and that seems an awfully long time ago for the hosts now.

    Notts were 48-2 when Haseeb Hameed was bowled by Craig Overton early on but Joe Clarke and Will Young have proved immoveable objects since then.

    The visitors are 36 behind and any designs Somerset may have had on winning within three days are disappearing quickly.

    A slog sweep for six off Mason Crane is followed by an audacious lift over the keeper's head for four off Dan Douthwaite.

    Three balls later he crashes the pacemen through the covers for another and moves to 170 not out.

    A controlled hook from a short ball by Dan Douthwaite brings Karun Nair one to long and and he reaches 150 from 220 faced.

    The 32-year-old has a Test triple century to his credit so it's no surprise that he is making the most of a docile pitch.

    The Northants lead is now 251.

    This match looked to be drifting towards a draw but has come alive all of a sudden.
