  1. WICKET: Gregory lbw Holder 1published at 15:55 British Summer Time 26 April

    Somerset 181-6 v Worcestershire

Three Somerset wickets lost for just six runs since Andy Umeed departed.

Somerset skipper Lewis Gregory can not provide the heroics he did at The Oval, full and straight from Jason Holder who has bowled a marvelous spell this afternoon - the only positive for me today, at least I put him in my fantasy team...

    And that is tea.

  2. wicket

WICKET: Pope b Fuller 13published at 15:54 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 24-2 v Hants 151

Ollie Pope, the Don Bradman of The Oval, has gone for just 13!

He tries to shoulder arms at James Fuller who gets a fraction extra bounce outside off and a thick underedge steers the ball into his stumps.

A little unfortunate but a slight misjudgement and Hampshire have their second wicket on the stroke of tea.

  3. WICKET: Rew c Roderick b Holder 3published at 15:49 British Summer Time 26 April

    Somerset 179-5 v Worcestershire

James Rew pokes at one, not dissimilarly to his dismissal at The Oval.

Jason Holder has a second wicket, pouched behind the timbers by former Gloucestershire man Gareth Roderick.

  4. 50 runs

Half century for Joe Rootpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 26 April

    Yorkshire 264-3 v Derbyshire

Former England opener Adam Lyth went three short of a century but Joe Root is looking well set in the run-up to tea.

  5. Tea at Chester-le-Streetpublished at 15:44 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 261-5 v Essex

What a good day's cricket this has been so far.

Durham won the toss and lost three wickets before lunch but responded with a stand of 137 between Colin Ackermann and Ollie Robinson.

It was Robinson who took the attack back to the bowlers, particularly after lunch, in making 90 from 86 balls.

Ackermann takes tea 75 not out. Durham's day so far.

  6. Five-wicket haulpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 26 April

    Middlesex 194-8 v Gloucestershire

Marchant de Lange has 5-47 as Middlesex are reduced to 194-8.

One of the nicest men in the game has had so many injury concerns.

He struggled to get games for Somerset in latter years, and has not had much more luck up the M5. But this day will make many happy on his behalf.

Can Middlesex eke out a first batting point?

Plenty of overs left to do it, but Josh De Caires needs support, on 37.

  7. WICKET: Umeed c Roderick b Holder 47published at 15:40 British Summer Time 26 April

    Somerset 175-4 v Worcestershire

Andy Umeed is next Somerset man out for 47, close to tea.

He did little wrong, but the 110th ball he faced brings Umeed's downfall, a beauty from big Jason Holder which kissed his outside edge.

Worcestershire-bred Tom Banton (35*), who used to play just up the road at Barnt Green, is joined by wicketkeeper James Rew.

  8. 250 up for Durhampublished at 15:35 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 253-5 v Essex

Durham have a first batting point with Colin Ackermann now onto 70.

Ackermann has added a fourth boundary, hitting a wide one from Matt Critchley into the deep that really should have been saved at long-off.

He's been joined by Byrdon Carse, making his second appearance of the season.

  9. 'A good start from Hampshire'published at 15:33 British Summer Time 26 April

    Hampshire 151, Surrey 12-1

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

This is a good start from Hampshire.

You'd expect the new ball to be doing a little bit.

I think it'll be interesting once we get to overs 15 or 20 or so.

Just to see if there is much life in this pitch.

  10. Meanwhile, back on the M5 . . .published at 15:32 British Summer Time 26 April

    Somerset 162-3 v Worcestershire

    Harry Everett
    BBC Sport

More than seven hours ago now it was that we broke down.

We left excessively early from Taunton, and were set to reach Kidderminster 90 minutes before the first ball was due to be bowled.

The school day had not even started when the car ceased working. Now pupils in uniform are walk past us homeward bound.

Meanwhile Somerset bat on, so the stream tells us. And we're about be towed back to Exeter. Written off for the day!

  11. 'Robinson probably not quite believing what has happened'published at 15:26 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 229-5 v Essex

    Glenn Speller
    BBC Essex Sport

    Well that is a surprise.

Ollie Robinson has played so fluently from the first ball and has never looked in trouble.

Three figures looked inevitable for the Durham wicketkeeper but then he chips a leading edge to Nick Browne at short mid-on to give Simon Harmer his first wicket.

He walks, some might say drags himself back to the pavilion looking to the skies, probably not quite believing what has happened.

  12. wicket

WICKET: Sibley b Abbott 4published at 15:13 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey 4-1 v Hants 151

Hampshire need a reply here with the new ball and Kyle Abbott gives them a great start with a wicket in the second over.

And a what a cracker to Dom Sibley.

It's angled in then seams away to crash off stump clean out of the ground.

  13. wicket

WICKET: Clark b Porter 3published at 15:10 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 229-5 v Essex

    Simon Harmer strikes again!

Round the wicket once more, he totally deceives Graham Clark with a floated ball outside off that spins back into middle stump.

Clark got into an almighty tangle, missed the ball by miles and ended up looking very amateur.

Much better look about the board for Essex now.

  14. 'It's been tough going for Hampshire'published at 15:08 British Summer Time 26 April

Hampshire 151 all out v Surrey

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

It's been tough going for Hampshire but the damage was mostly done before the lunchtime break, which they took on 91-6.

It was all about the Nick Gubbins/James Fuller partnership - but they fell, followed by Brad Wheal and Kyle Abbott.

Everything that's gone in the air has gone to hand.

It's just been one of those days.

  15. 100 runs

Century for Ben Duckettpublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 179-4 v Warwickshire

Ben Duckett's 27th first-class centuryImage source, Rex Features

England opener Ben Duckett stops the Notts rot by turning the ball round the corner for a single to reach his century.

BBC Radio Nottingham's Dave Bracegirdle has enthused suitably over Duckett's 27th first-class century.

"He has very much looked up for it since going out to the middle this morning.

He's not wasted any opportunities to take the attack towards all of the bowlers.

He's put the bad balls away, he's run hard. A really difficult customer to bowl to."

  16. wicket

WICKET: Robinson c Browne b Porter 90published at 15:00 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 221-4 v Essex

No century for Ollie Robinson as his sparkling innings is ended by Simon Harmer.

Robinson gets there too early trying to flick a ball to leg from round the wicket and pops up an easy catch to short midwicket.

A real shame after a swashbuckling 86-ball knock with 15 fours.

Badly-needed breakthrough for Essex after a stand of 137 in 27 overs.

    BBC Radio Newcastle's Martin Emmerson:

"Having reached 50 for the fifth innings in a row, Ollie Robinson looked set to reach his first century of the season. But, it wasn't to be.

He had been dropped on 26, just after lunch, when he cut a shot off Sam Cook to Shane Snater at point. But he went on to add 137 runs for the fourth wicket with Colin Ackermann (54).

  17. wicket

WICKET: Clarke c Burgess b Rhodes 0published at 14:59 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 177-4 v Warwickshire

Will Rhodes strikes twice in the over. In identical fashion.

And the second of them is a big scalp, leading Notts run scorer Joe Clarke.

After 480 runs this season he is gone for a fifth-ball duck.

Hasan Ali starts another over as Ben Duckett still patiently awaits his ton at the other end.

Clarke is replaced by another of Notts' quartet of Worcestershire old boys Jack Haynes.

  18. Somerset still keeping Pears at baypublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 26 April

    Somerset 143-3 v Worcestershire

Tom Banton (21*) and Andy Umeed (32*) are still together at Chester Road.

Ben Gibbon with 1-23 off 10 overs now on his first first-class appearance of the season.

  19. wicket

WICKET: Young c Burgess b Rhodes 5published at 14:55 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 177-3 v Warwickshire

With Ben Duckett becalmed at one end just a run short of his century, Warwickshire strike at the other.

Will Young really does have to leave right now, having edged Will Rhodes to keeper Ben Burgess.

New man is one of Notts' four former Pears, Joe Clarke, who comes in looking to add to his prodigious season's haul of 480 runs.

  20. 'Essex attack looking a bit blunt'published at 14:55 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 209-3 v Essex

    Glenn Speller
    BBC Essex sport

For probably only the second time this season the Essex attack is looking a bit blunt and shorn of ideas as to how they are going to part this fourth wicket partnership between Robinson and Ackerrmann.

It is Ollie Robinson’s fifth successive half century for Durham and he has made his runs quickly and attractively.
