  1. wicket

HAMPSHIRE ALL OUTpublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey v Hants 151

No messing around at all with the tail and Surrey have bombed Hampshire out for just 151.

Kyle Abbott tries to swing Jordan Clark down the ground but Kemar Roach takes his second solid catch running in off the boundary, this time from long-on.

Absolutely spot on for Surrey having won the toss. Just 45 overs of bowling.

Three wickets each for Clark, Gus Atkinson and Dan Worrall with Roach taking the other.

Nick Gubbins the only batsman to show for Hampshire, making 45, with James Fuller's 39 down the order saving them from real embarrassment.

  2. wicket

WICKET: Wheal c Smith b Atkinson 12published at 14:49 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey v Hants 149-9

Surrey almost through as Gus Atkinson takes a third wicket.

A really lovely delivery to Brad Wheal that brings the right-hander forward, straightens off a tight line and takes a tickle of an edge through to wicketkeeper Jamie Smith.

  3. 50 for Colin Ackermannpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 201-3 v Essex

At 84-3, the day was even but this fourth wicket stand has put the home side firmly in charge.

Colin Ackermann has been very much the junior partner with Ollie Robinson going so well but he also now gets to fifty.

But in a rather more conventional 117 balls with three fours.

A maiden half-century for Durham after his winter move from Leicestershire.

  4. 'Boundary dimensions part of Gloucestershire plan'published at 14:37 British Summer Time 26 April

    Middlesex 136-7 v Gloucestershire

    Ed Seabourne
    BBC Radio Bristol

It's definitely been part of the Gloucestershire plan with these boundary dimensions - really shortening the straight boundaries and lengthening the square ones.

They will have looked at this and thought we think that our attack can bowl more quickly on this pitch than Middlesex's can.

I reckon that is probably what they've looked at and thought that we've got an attack that would like to bang the ball in a bit more.

So, we're going the lengthen the square boundaries and challenge people to clear them off the back foot if they want to hit it in the air.

Marchant de Lange now has his fourth wicket, after removing wicketkeeper Jack Davies.

Tom Helm, fresh off his first-class best of 64 in the run-fest against Glamorgan three weeks ago, has joined Michael Atherton's son Josh De Caires.

  5. wicket

WICKET: Fuller c Roach b Atkinson 39published at 14:36 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey v Hants 133-8

Gus Atkinson now removes James Fuller and Hampshire are almost done here now.

Atkinson goes short and Fuller tries to angle it over the slips cordon but gets too much on it and it flies to deep-backward point where Kemar Roach runs in to take a good low catch.

A nice effort from Fuller but his side now on the cusp of being rolled.

  6. 'Leach deserved that wicket'published at 14:26 British Summer Time 26 April

    Somerset 112-3 v Worcestershire

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

Tom Lammonby was drawn into playing that shot, it was over ambitious as it turned out.

An off drive and a thick edge. A good catch by Jason Holder.

It's a very important wicket and Joe Leach deserved that.

  7. wicket

    WICKET: Slater c Burgess b Hannon-Dalby 65published at 14:26 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 162-2 v Warwickshire

Olly Hannon-Dalby has his second wicket.

Three hours after he should have had it!

He had Ben Slater put down at third slip before he had scored. And it was a costly miss . . . to the tune of 65 runs!

Slater's stand of 146 with Ben Duckett is over. But the England man remains, just 10 short of a century.

  8. wicket

WICKET: Gubbins b Roach 45published at 14:25 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey v Hants 125-7

It had been a solid 45 minutes for Hampshire after lunch with the stand between Nick Gubbins and James Fuller reaching 61.

But Kemar Roach has made the breakthrough.

A full inswinger from round the wicket goes straight through the left-handed Gubbins trying to drive and knocks out off stump.

  9. Fifth consecutive 50 for Robinsonpublished at 14:25 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 165-3 v Essex

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham wicket-keeper batsman Ollie Robinson is enjoying a bright start to the season. He's scored at least 50 in every innings so far.

His half century today follows 55 and 67* at Kidderminster last weekend.

Prior to that he made 60 and 52 in a high-scoring draw at Edgbaston.

He's also put on 81 runs with Colin Ackermann, who has 35. They came together when David Bedingham was out in the 21st over, before lunch, for 52.

    Today's 50 included 11 fours.

  10. Division Two round-uppublished at 14:24 British Summer Time 26 April

Gloucestershire have taken two more wickets in quick time at Bristol, as Middlesex slump to 127-6.

First, former Exeter University seamer Dom Goodman got Steve Eskinazi, then Marchant de Lange had his third wicket of the first day when he had former Gloucestershire all-rounder Ryan Higginscaught at slip.

After losing their second wicket before lunch against Derbyshire at Headingley, skipper Shan Masood for 40, Yorkshire have moved on to 161-2.

England's Joe Root has moved steadily on to 27, although only one of them via the boundary, while batting sensibly with former England opener Adam Lyth (67*).

Northants have lost Emilio Gay since lunch for 88 at Leicester.

They have moved on to 185-3 against Leicestershire.

  11. 50 for Ollie Robinsonpublished at 14:23 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 167-3 v Essex

What a sprightly innings this is from Ollie Robinson.

Shane Snater sticks a catching mid-on for him and goes full and straight.

But Robinson stays leg side and bangs it back up past mid-off with yet again perfect timing.

He then leans into a ball not all that full from Sam Cook and strokes it away past the same fielder for an 11th boundary and a really attractive half-century in 48 balls.

  12. 'OHD has been best of the Bears attack'published at 14:18 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 156-1 v Warwickshire

    Melinda Farrell
Sports broadcaster/journalist on BBC Coventry & Warwickshire

Last year's top wicket taker Olly Hannon-Dalby has definitely been the best of the Warwickshire attack today.

He's threatened the outside edge and they've paid him quite a bit of respect.

He also should have had a second wicket much earlier, but had Ben Slater crucially spilled before he had scored.

  13. 50 runs

Half-century for Ben Slaterpublished at 14:12 British Summer Time 26 April

    Notts 147-1 v Warwickshire

Two fours in the same over off former Warwickshire skipper Will Rhodes.

That takes him to his 38th first-class half-century.

Not a bad effort from a man who was dropped on nought!

  14. WICKET: Lammonby c Holder b Leach 34published at 14:09 British Summer Time 26 April

    Somerset 107-3 v Worcestershire

Jason Holder is renowned for his bucket hands, and at second slip the former West Indies Test skipper makes no mistake as Tom Lammonby wafts at one from Joe Leach.

Gareth Roderick is stood up to the stumps for the Pears, perhaps trying to get in the head of the in-form Exeter left-hander.

  15. 100 up for Hampshirepublished at 13:57 British Summer Time 26 April

    Surrey v Hants 101-6

Hampshire have got to find something here to save being blown away.

It's a recovery of sorts by Nick Gubbins, now 40, and James Fuller, 17, having been 64-6.

Since lunch, Gubbins has driven a wide one from Kemar Roach really sweetly through cover for four.

And Fuller has played a brave drive on-the-up through the same region to raise the hundred.

  16. 'Satisfactory from Northants'published at 13:56 British Summer Time 26 April

    Northamptonshire 128-1 v Leicestershire

    Andrew Radd
    BBC Radio Northampton

Pretty satisfactory first session from Northamptonshire.

It'll be interesting to see how George Scrimshaw goes later on in this match.

  17. Postpublished at 13:54 British Summer Time 26 April

    Durham 148-3 v Essex

Ollie Robinson is rattling along for Durham in the north-east.

Any hint of width or length and he's on to it in a flash - almost literally with those quick hands of his.

Sam Cook goes wide and gets cuts for four through point.

Then he goes too full and gets splendidly driven past extra-cover.

Shane Snater also errs too wide and he too is slapped away for four more.

34 in just 27 balls for Robinson and Durham making excellent progress.

  20. Lunch at Kidderminsterpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time 26 April

    Somerset 87-2 (30 overs) v Worcestershire

A steady morning's work from Somerset on their ninth visit to Chester Road, in the 103 years of first-class cricket at Kidderminster.

Both openers Matt Renshaw (30) and Sean Dickson (16) gone but Tom Lammonby (29*) is now trying to tidy things up with new man in Andy Umeed, who has already hit his first boundary.
