  1. Five-wicket haul for Corey Rocchicciolipublished at 12:55 British Summer Time

    Overton lbw b Rocchiccioli 12 (Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 229-8 dec)

Craig Overton really does not know whether to stick or twist and the overseas off-spinner Corey Rocchiccioli has benefitted massively this morning with a couple of good balls in between.

He got good turn to dismiss James Rew early on, but was generously donated wickets by Tom Abell, Banton and Overton today.

  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time

    O'Rourke run out 0 (Notts 487 v Yorkshire 506-9)

    Chaos at Trent Bridge.

Will O'Rourke manages to balloon an innocuous-looking delivery from Haseeb Hameed into open space on the off side.

Confusion reigns as O'Rourke and Revis both set off for a single before both stopping mid-pitch.

Revis rushes through to make his ground, but Lyndon James throws down the stumps to remove O'Rourke, with Hameed just about getting out of the way of the throw.

Jack White joins Revis in the middle.

  3. 50 runs

50 For John Simpsonpublished at 12:52 British Summer Time

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 184-4

    Captain reliable brings up a 59th first-class 50.

John Simpson's form has been brilliant this season and this half century comes from 106 balls with seven fours.

    Sussex lead by 218 runs.

  4. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time

    Bess st Kishan b McCann 26 (Notts 487 v Yorkshire 505-8)

Freddie McCann has two - his career best - and Notts now have eight.

Dom Bess runs down the track and completely misses it, leaving Ishan Kishan plenty of time to calmly remove the bails.

Matt Revis is 88 not out - he needs a partner.

  5. Elsewhere in Div Two...published at 12:48 British Summer Time

Northants need 311 to beat Middlesex after they declared on 332-8. They'll have two and a bit sessions to get them in.

Gloucestershire's monumental fightback in Bristol continues - the hosts are now 487-5 in their second innings against Derbyshire and lead by 276. Graeme van Buuren is 174 not out.

Still no wicket for leaders Leicestershire in this first session. Glamorgan have moved onto 201-3 - the deficit is just 22.

  6. 'Somerset have been slightly negative'published at 12:47 British Summer Time

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 222-7

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Somerset have been slightly negative this am.

It is a difficult one, but they must have feared the firepower in this Warwickshire batting and whether that match in Taunton on that hybrid pitch sticks in their mind?

Tom Abell led that incredible chase of over 400 at Taunton last summer when Michael Booth was smashed around for that emphatic final day victory.

  7. 50 runs

50 Partnershippublished at 12:46 British Summer Time

    Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 63-2

Jaydn Denly helps himself to a boundary and up comes the 50 partnership with his captain, Daniel Bell-Drummond.

These two still have a lot of work ahead of them and Denly promptly gets an inside edge past his stumps just to keep him honest.

    Kent trail by 202 runs.

  8. 12.50 declaration & lunch?published at 12:43 British Summer Time

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 217-7

    Harry Everett
    BBC Sport from Edgbaston

Somerset must be looking to bat until 12.50 now, there has been less intent the past few overs since Tom Abell and Migael Pretorius sacrificed themselves.

A declaration at 12.50 would save two overs being wasted and then Somerset could bowl from 1.30, but would now not have the 80 overs Steve Kirby said last night that they would want in order to bowl the Bears out.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:35 British Summer Time

    Pretorius b Bamber 7 (Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 210-7)

Migael Pretorius biffs a four over mid off then is bowled.

Archie Vaughan does not know whether to walk off with his brief partner or not.

Kasey Aldridge and Jake Lintott come out again with varying useful or not so messages, in fact both subs, Archie Vaughan and four of the home fielders all stand and chat in a group together, so hardly secret messaging now!

  10. 50 runs

50 For Danial Ibrahimpublished at 12:34 British Summer Time

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 165-4

Danial Ibrahim batting for Sussex at DurhamImage source, Getty Images

He's worked really hard for that but Danial Ibrahim gets to his half century - his fourth in first-class cricket.

He was out cheaply in the first innings but makes full use of a second chance with his 50 coming from 161 balls including five fours.

It's also Ibrahim's first 50 in Division One cricket.

    Sussex lead by 199 runs.

  11. 50 runs

50 Up for Kentpublished at 12:32 British Summer Time

    Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 50-2

It hasn't come without some damage and a few more scares along the way but Jaydn Denly (28*) and Daniel Bell-Drummond (10*) seem to have steadied the ship.

    Kent trail by 215 runs.

  12. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:30 British Summer Time

    Abell b Rocchiccioli 42 (Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 205-6)

Next ball Tom Abell is bowled having run down to Corey Rocchiccioli the ball after he hit that six. A bit of turn in fairness but a very sacrificial shot prompted by this apparently soon declaration.

Another sefless knock from Abell, Migael Pretorius the new bat to give some long-handle before lunch.

  13. Postpublished at 12:28 British Summer Time

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 199-5

Six fielders on the rope now.

Alex Davies defending massively vs Tom Abell, but one fielder comes up for Archie Vaughan to make four hovering on the edge of what would be a 30 yard ring were it there.

Tom Abell does what he is not really picked in this team to do and slog sweeps just over deep square leg for six.

  14. 100 runs

100 for Sam Northeastpublished at 12:24 British Summer Time

    Leics 576-7 dec v Glamorgan 353 & 187-3

Glamorgan captain Sam Northeast is going a long way towards saving this game for his side against Division Two leaders Leicestershire.

He brings up his 34th first-class century and in the process of this innings nudged his career average above 40.

Glamorgan still trail by 36, but Northeast and batting partner Colin Ingram (63*) look set.

  15. 150 runs

150 Up for Sussex & 50 partnershippublished at 12:22 British Summer Time

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 150-4

A couple of close lbw shouts have been the only scares for Sussex this morning.

Danial Ibrahim survived on each occasion when facing Matthew Potts.

Ibrahim has got himself to 44 not out and his captain John Simpson has 27 as they also bring up a 50 partnership.

    Sussex lead by 184 runs.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:21 British Summer Time

    Hill b McCann 30 (Notts 487 v Yorkshire 469-7)

From absolutely nowhere, Nottinghamshire have a wicket.

Freddie McCann turns one from fairly wide and dislodges the bails via an inside edge.

George Hill cannot quite believe it.

  17. Postpublished at 12:21 British Summer Time

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 196-5

Alex Davies waits until Ethan Bamber is all the way on the far boundary edge before suddenly requesting him to come on and bowl, he looks as suprised as anyone!

More field changes ensue and the poor over rate this morning continues.

Just 19 overs in one hour and 22 minutes this morning and that is including multiple overs of spin which should be much faster.

  18. Postpublished at 12:15 British Summer Time

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 188-5

    Harry Everett
    BBC Sport from Edgbaston

Fifteen off that Che Simmons over.

Archie Vaughan is suddenly 23* off 36 balls and this partnership 48* off 69 balls with Tom Abell 34* off 56.

Somerset lead by 335 runs now and I would guess the declaration will come in the next 15 minutes, allowing Somerset a minimum of 20 minutes to bowl at the Bears before lunch then.

Warwickshire are trying to take time out of this game though as the physio runs onto the pitch again for I am not sure what, more field changes frustrating Somerset wanting to get on with it.

  19. Somerset on the chargepublished at 12:11 British Summer Time

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 183-5

Message plan enacted immediately as a Che Simmons no ball is carved for four by Archie Vaughan, then pulled for four next ball, so 10 runs off one legal delivery thus far.

A couple of overs of fireworks before declaration I guess it is then!

  20. Attrition is the name of the gamepublished at 12:10 British Summer Time

Sussex 143-4 lead by 177 runs

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

It's been an attritional first hour, with only 21 runs scored. That includes just two boundaries.

Matty Potts and Ben Raine have really put some pressure on Sussex though. And Danial Ibrahim has survived two bigs appeals for LBW, both from Potts. Both looked good shouts, but each time umpire Peter Hartley said "no".

Ibrahim has faced 139 balls for his 32. He's been tanacious and it's a great learning process for the 20-year-old. John Simpson has 25 from 63.

But, crucially, no wickets have fallen on day four so far.
