  1. Postpublished at 12:09 British Summer Time 25 June

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 173-5

Interesting - field settings are back!

Alex Davies stations three men back on the leg side for off-spinner Corey Rocchiccioli, but Tom Abell does not bat much differently.

Kasey Aldridge then runs a drink out to the two batters, it seems like a long message they are given whilst Rob Yates ear wigs next to them.

  2. Postpublished at 12:06 British Summer Time 25 June

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 134-4

The first spin of the day for Durham after an hour of seam.

George Drissell is on for the home side and if he can't find some assistance then this looks certain to fizzle out to a draw.

    Sussex lead by 168 runs.

  3. Postpublished at 12:05 British Summer Time 25 June

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 170-5

Shot of the morning so far from Tom Abell who reaches 30* off 53 balls with a glorious straight drive for four. Six off the latest over, bowled by Che Simmons.

    Allison c Prest b Dawson 13 (Essex 296 & 131-5 v Hants 453)

It's that man Liam Dawson again for Hampshire!

Charlie Allison tries to pull Dawson over the leg side and relieve some pressure, but can only pick out Tom Prest at midwicket.

The home side are five down, still trailing by 26.

  5. Postpublished at 12:00 British Summer Time 25 June

    Notts 487 v Yorkshire 458-6

    Jonathan Doidge
    BBC Radio Leeds cricket commentator

This is a day for personal landmarks more than anything else.

It's good for George Hill and Matt Revis to spend time in the middle before a massive game for Yorkshire against Essex.

  6. Postpublished at 11:58 British Summer Time 25 June

    Notts 487 v Yorkshire 457-6

This Trent Bridge pitch continues to offer the bowlers very little.

Matt Revis and George Hill reach their 50 partnership with minimal fuss.

  7. Postpublished at 11:52 British Summer Time 25 June

    Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 20-2

Lancashire want the wicket of Daniel Bell-Drummond and think they've got him as Matthew Hurst takes the ball expertly down the leg side while standing up to the stumps to Tom Bailey.

Was there a little tickle? No says umpire David Millns.

Lancashire's tonsils are going to get a good work out today.

    Kent trail by 245 runs.

  8. Postpublished at 11:47 British Summer Time 25 June

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 123-4

Another lbw shout for Matthew Potts - another shake of the head from umpire Peter Hartley - Potts is on his knees in his follow through.

Potts has something said to him by the umpire on his way back to his mark - probably an explanation as to why it's not out.

I asked a club umpire why an appeal was not out once and his answer - 'because I say so...' - that was good enough for me.

    Sussex lead by 157 runs.

  9. 150 runs

Postpublished at 11:46 British Summer Time 25 June

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 151-5

Archie Vaughan is 5* and Tom Abell, who just survived a probably high lbw shout on the back foot off Corey Rocchiccioli, is 16*.

The lead is 297, Somerset may end up batting until lunch now if not all out by then, Somerset have two aggressive bowling all-rounders to come in next.

  10. Postpublished at 11:42 British Summer Time 25 June

    Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 11-2

Oh, Lancashire are all over Kent and Daniel Bell-Drummond is the new man.

He guides the second ball he receives into the waiting hands of Keaton Jennings and the appeals are loud and concerted - take a breath Kent fans as it's only come off his thigh pad.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:38 British Summer Time 25 June

    Parkinson c Bohannon b Green 4 (Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 11-2)

    The Matt Parkinson experiment fails.

Chris Green is on to bowl some spin and he turns one into Parkinson who nudges it off his pads straight into the hands of Josh Bohannon at leg slip.

Kent are wobbling - trail by 254 runs.

  12. Elsewhere in Div Two...published at 11:38 British Summer Time 25 June

Cameron Bancroft's mammoth innings for Gloucestershire has come to an end on 176, with his side now 390-4 against Derbyshire.

Graeme van Buuren is still there on 119 - those two put on 222 for the fourth wicket. Gloucestershire lead by 179 and all three results are still possible.

Leaders Leicestershire still can't break Glamorgan's stubborn fourth-wicket partnership. Sam Northeast (83*) and Colin Ingram (47*) have shared 122 and the Welsh county are 158-3. They still trail by 65.

Middlesex are looking to set Northants a tough chase in Northampton. The visitors are 257-4 and 235 in front.

  13. Postpublished at 11:37 British Summer Time 25 June

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 123-4

Matthew Potts is shouting for an lbw against Danial Ibrahim.

The England paceman looks crestfallen because there has been precious little encouragement for the bowlers this morning.

  14. Postpublished at 11:35 British Summer Time 25 June

    Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 10-1

Tom Bailey smacks one into the pads of Matt Parkinson - not out.

These are tricky moments for Kent.

Parkinson normally bats at number nine or ten so it's an interesting move from head coach Adam Hollioake to send him in first up.

  15. Postpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 25 June

    Essex 296 & 113-4 v Hants 453

    Victoria Polley
    BBC Essex Sports Editor

Matt Critchley looked off balance and is disappointed as he goes off.

He will know how important a partnership is for Essex.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:30 British Summer Time 25 June

    Banton lbw Rocchiccioli 2 (Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 140-5)

Tom Banton attempts to sweep a straight one and misses.

    Crashing into middle stump.

A 10th ball swipe perhaps hints that Somerset fancy quick morning runs to then have a go at bowling Warwickshire out for under 300?

Corey Rocchiccioli's start to the day probably has a certain Jack Leach licking his lips in the dressing room.

  17. Postpublished at 11:30 British Summer Time 25 June

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 121-4

Nothing doing for the Durham seamers in the first half an hour at the Riverside.

Those four weather interruptions yesterday look to have had the biggest say on this one.

    Sussex lead by 155 runs.

  18. Postpublished at 11:28 British Summer Time 25 June

    Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 10-1

So, Jaydn Denly is in at number three for Kent - he opened the batting in the first innings.

In case you were wondering, Matt Parkinson partnered the now departed Ben Compton at the top of the order.

Parkinson has a highest first-class score of 48 but it's about survival rather than runs today.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:27 British Summer Time 25 June

    Critchley lbw b Dawson 19 (Essex 296 & 113-4 v Hants 453)

Liam Dawson does the trick for Hampshire - how many times has that been said in recent years?

There's some nice drift there for the left-arm tweaker and Matt Critchley plays all around it.

That's hitting middle and leg, and the umpire's finger shoots up.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:23 British Summer Time 25 June

    Compton lbw Bailey 6 (Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 9-1)

    A big breakthrough for Lancashire.

Tom Bailey bowls around the wicket to Ben Compton and raps his pads - up goes the appeal and up goes the finger.

Compton pauses a moment - disappointed with himself, the decision or both?

Doesn't matter, he's out and Jaydn Denly is in.

    Kent trail by 256 runs.
