    Clark c Simpson b Robinson 51 (Durham 271-6 v Sussex 361)

Graham Clark's innings is over as he gets a nick to Ollie Robinson and John Simpson does the rest.

Sussex might still be able take a handy first innings lead.

50 Partnershippublished at 11:33 British Summer Time 24 June

    Worcs 214 & 96-4 v Surrey 291

How well have Adam Hose and Ben Allison done?

At 46-4 last night Worcestershire might have folded in a heap against some very good seam bowling from Surrey.

But Hose and nightwatchman Allison have battled away and looked to score runs as well rather than just survive.

The home side lead by 19 runs.

  7. Postpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 24 June

    Warwickshire 173-2 v Somerset 498

Three maidens Matt Henry has opened up with this morning, the last a wicket maiden, getting his old pal Tom Latham being the most rewarding point.

139 Latham and Alex Davies (76*) put on for the second wicket.

Sam Hain has two close mid-wickets to deal with.

  8. Postpublished at 11:27 British Summer Time 24 June

    Worcs 214 & 90-4 v Surrey 291

Adam Hose takes two steps down the wicket to Matthew Fisher and slaps a boundary through the covers.

He was struck on the hand last night and then promptly hit 10 runs from three balls - he does not want to be dictated to.

Worcestershire lead by 13 runs now.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:27 British Summer Time 24 June

    Hill c Ingram b van der Gugten 70 (Leicestershire 400-5 v Glamorgan 353)

    Wickets galore this morning suddenly.

Lewis Hill has to go for 70 off 135 balls.

Timm van der Gugten with his first wicket and that is wickets in consecutive overs, both through Colin Ingram slip catches for Glamorgan.

Leicestershire should still reach 450 by 110 overs though.

    Liam Trevaskis the new bat.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:24 British Summer Time 24 June

    Latham c Rew b Henry 65 (Warwickshire 172-2 v Somerset 498)

Kiwi gets Kiwi and this is a massive breakthrough this morning, could this blow the game open? Can Somerset stop the home side passing the follow on target of 349?

Tom Latham is unable to add a run in 24 minutes this morning as he is caught behind for 65 off 159 balls.

He turns and walks straight away, Sam Hain will now join Alex Davies on 75*.

  11. 400 and a fourth batting bonus pointpublished at 11:22 British Summer Time 24 June

    Leicestershire 400-4 v Glamorgan 353

Handscomb's first runs are a boundary in his first over off James Harris, beautifully driven down the ground to get off the mark.

This brings up his side's 400 and crucially another bonus point to keep them adding to their very impressive points tally so far in Division Two.

    Lewis Hill is 70*.

  12. wicket

    Wright c Ingram b Harris 19 (Leicestershire 396-4 v Glamorgan 353)

Glamorgan celebrate wicket of Chris WrightImage source, Rex Features

First loss of the day at Grace Road.

Chris Wright is well held at first slip as the new ball gives Glamorgan a glimmer of hope here.

Ben Cox was dropped for this game remember for Leicestershire to play extra specialist bowlers and give Peter Handscomb the gloves.

Handscomb then went and came very close to breaking a special record with the gloves yesterday.

Only Neil Burns, who took seven catches behind the stumps against Somerset in 2001, has taken more for the Foxes in a single innings.

The Aussie comes in at six now.

  13. Postpublished at 11:20 British Summer Time 24 June

    Worcs 214 & 84-4 v Surrey 291

Ben Allison drives Matthew Fisher to the long-off fence and now has 19 to go with his 5-44 in the Surrey first innings.

Allison does have four first-class half centuries with a highest score of 75 so he's more than capable with the willow.

Having said that, there's a huge appeal from the final delivery of the over as the ball ends up in the hands of first slip but it's come off his pad so all is well for now.

  14. Postpublished at 11:17 British Summer Time 24 June

    Warwickshire 166-1 v Somerset 498

Matt Henry bounces his international team-mate, but Tom Latham will be able to pick up his tell better than most of course, having kept wicket to him many a time around the world across formats.

Warwickshire have three wicketkeepers in this side.

But with little wobble through the air nor seam movement off the pitch it has been pretty easy keeping stood back, just the one blip from James Rew missing that Latham stumping yesterday evening thus far.

  15. 'Feels muggy under grey skies'published at 11:16 British Summer Time 24 June

    Durham 257-5 v Sussex 361

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

Durham lost the services of Colin Ackermann to the final delivery of the day yesterday, as he got an inside edge from Gurinder Sandhu, onto his off-stump. He was out for 65, having added 76 for the fifth wicket with Graham Clark.

Clark resumed on 46 today and has now reached 50 for the 23rd time in his first-class career.

A no ball from Sandhu also brought up the 250 for Durham and a first batting poiint.

It's humid in CLS but the wind has at least dropped. It feels really muggy under grey skies. One weather app suggests we could see some showers today, while a rival says we won't. How can it be? Someone make it make sense!

  16. Postpublished at 11:14 British Summer Time 24 June

    Worcs 214 & 79-4 v Surrey 291

Worcestershire move into the lead with a Ben Allison clip behind square on the leg side which brings two runs.

We've already seen Adam Hose pad-up to Matthew Fisher this morning but the ball was going over the stumps.

Having seen Henry Nicholls do similar yesterday and perish I'm not sure that's the best approach.

  17. Postpublished at 11:13 British Summer Time 24 June

    Warwickshire 166-1 v Somerset 498

Somerset start with pace from both ends.

But Tom Latham and Alex Davies have continued their stoic partnership against both Migael Pretorius and Matt Henry.

The former's figures are damaged by another no ball, plus a rare blip in the field from former Somerset skipper Tom Abell overthrowing, Tom Banton chases to back up but it is still four no balls.

Davies then hits four through the off side to rub further salt in the wound.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:12 British Summer Time 24 June

    Varma c Elgar b Harmer 100 (Essex 296 v Hants 297-5)

Hundred and out for Tilak Varma.

Simon Harmer tosses one up into the rough outside off stump and entices the drive.

Varma gets an edge which pops up to Dean Elgar at slip off the gloves of wicket-keeper Michael Pepper.

Tom Prest joins Liam Dawson in the middle.

  19. 'Terrific knock'published at 11:09 British Summer Time 24 June

    Essex 296 v Hants 295-4

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

    Terrific knock from Tilak Varma.

I'm glad he's got it so quickly having been two runs short overnight.

He becomes the ninth player to score a century on Hampshire debut, alongside the likes of Ajinkya Rahne, Colin de Grandhomme and John Crawley.

  20. 50 runs

50 For Graham Clarkpublished at 11:07 British Summer Time 24 June

    Durham 257-5 v Sussex 361

Graham Clark moves to a 17th first-class half century.

He's got them at a decent lick as well with his 50 coming from 89 balls with nine fours.
