Postpublished at 18:21 British Summer Time

    Lancs 541-5 v Kent 374

    It seems almost cruel now.

Ashton Turner hits a monster over the wall and into the trees at Blackpool.

That's his sixth six from his 132*

Are Lancashire thinking about a declaration?

The lead is 167 runs with 12 overs remaining in the day.

  2. 50 runs

50 for Somersetpublished at 18:20 British Summer Time

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 57-2

James Rew and Jacob Bethell are great mates from their England U19 days do not forget.

They enjoyed a prematch round of golf last weekend, and both have caught each other out in this match so far.

First punch of the third innings goes to Rew as he gets outside off and sweeps Bethell for four. Second punch also to Rew as he then reverse sweeps for four, so 10 off Bethell's first over.

  3. Close of play at the Riversidepublished at 18:18 British Summer Time

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 111-4

The players have been off the field since just before 10 past five, initially for bad light but then the rain came.

Bizarrely we now have bright sunshine but the umpires have decided it will take too long to get the field of play ready so we're heading off for the evening at the Riverside.

Sussex lead by 145 runs going into the final day.

  4. 6 runs

Postpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time

    Lancs 526-5 v Kent 374

Yeah, six more and it's Jack Leaning getting another taste as Ashton Turner (122*) spanks him into the car park.

Hands on hips all around among the Kent players.

We await for either the ball to be returned or for a new one to be brought out...hang on, they've found it.

    Lancashire are 151 runs ahead.

  5. Postpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time

    Warwickshire 351 v Somerset 498 & 48-2

Double change now as Jacob Bethell comes on from the Pavilion End after his 2-59 off 17 in the first.

He will expect to bowl better today with a couple of foot mark areas to target, though this pitch has still not changed much since those T20s on it last Friday.

Another day in Nottingham where bat has dominated ball.

This game is almost certainly destined for a draw tomorrow after a magnificent double hundred from Finlay Bean helped Yorkshire keep hosts Nottinghamshire at arm's length.

Matt Critchley and Tom Westley safely make their way to stumps after blocking the final over of the day, bowled by Felix Organ.

Hampshire have had the better of day three, with Tilak Varma and Liam Dawson both reaching three figures as they racked up a sizeable lead. Dawson then took two wickets before Eddie Jack dismissed Jordan Cox.

A couple more quick wickets tomorrow morning would put Hampshire firmly in control.
