  1. 300 runs

300 for Warwickshirepublished at 15:19 British Summer Time 24 June

    Warwickshire 300-5 v Somerset 498

Another six down town, or should I say 'away from city' as Sam Hain shuffles down and deposits Jack Leach away from Birmingham City Centre again.

They trail by under 200 now and the follow on target of 349 is not far away from being passed too.

Somerset will really rue their missed chances today and yesterday.

  2. Resumption at Grace Roadpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 24 June

    Leicestershire 576-7 dec v Glamorgan 353 & 0-0

The small matter of 223 runs behind, Glamorgan open with Zain ul Hassan, but not Asa Tribe!

He was experiencing flu symptoms on day one (when he made a century)

So Mason Crane will open the batting!

Chris Wright takes the new Kookaburra ball.

  3. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 24 June

    Notts 487 v Yorkshire 295-5

Matt Revis gets off the mark off the 23rd delivery he has faced with a cut through the off side.

Yorkshire still trail by 193 runs.

  4. 100 runs

for Cameron Bancroftpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 24 June

    Gloucs 187 & 202-3 v Derbys 398

There it is. Four runs through point carry Cameron Bancroft to his second Championship hundred of the season and 32nd of his career.

This one has taken him 202 balls and Gloucestershire are now just nine runs in arrears.

  5. 6 runs

Postpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 24 June

    Warwickshire 291-5 v Somerset 498

Sam Hain (63*) takes Jack Leach down the ground for six last ball of the over.

Craig Overton will return from the City End now.

The Bears still trailing by 207.

  6. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 24 June

    Essex 296 & 12-0 v Hampshire 453

    Kyle AbbottImage source, Rex Features

Essex struggled against Kyle Abbott in their first innings and the South African seamer has started well again here.

Every one of Essex's 12 runs so far have come off Eddie Jack, with Abbott bowling back-to-back maidens from the other end.

  7. rain stops play

Rain stops play & Teapublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 24 June

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 50-3

The rain returns at Durham and we'll have a second stoppage.

In fact they are going to take tea so hopefully this latest shower will clear in the next 20 minutes.

  8. 50 runs

50 Up for Sussexpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 24 June

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 50-3

Sussex bring up their 50 and now lead by 84 runs.

They are slowly rebuilding over the loss of those early wickets.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 24 June

    Wells c Agar b Parkinson 152 (Lancs 303-3 v Kent 374)

    Six and out.

Luke Wells tries to repeat his six from the previous ball but doesn't get enough on it and Wes Agar takes a well-judged catch as he dives forward at long off to give Matt Parkinson his first wicket.

Ashton Turner is the new man.

  10. 150 for Luke Wells and 300 up for Lancashirepublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 24 June

    Lancs 303-2 v Kent 374

Luke Wells sends the new ball over the sight screen and into the trees at Blackpool.

The ball was stuck up the tree!

It brings up his 150 from 256 balls with 17 fours and three sixes.

The Lancashire 300 is also on the board so there's a second batting point.

  11. Leicestershire have declared!published at 15:05 British Summer Time 24 June

    Leicestershire 576-7 v Glamorgan 353

Peter Handscomb has called it slightly earlier than many would have expected.

Logan van Beek and Ben Green were both going nicely and accelerating towards potential individual centuries.

But the Aussie attitude to make brave declarations will see Leicestershire bowl come 3.13pm today.

    The lead is 223.

  12. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 15:03 British Summer Time 24 June

    Warwickshire 279-5 v Somerset 498

A hard chance, low, diving to his right, for James Rew but Somerset will need to take half chances to have a chance of winning this game.

He got a right glove under it and nearly parries it up to Tom Kohler-Cadmore at first slip, but neither can quite cling on.

Matt Henry the next unfortunate bowler, Jack Leach will now have a chance from the Pavilion End with this six overs old ball.

  13. Play resumes at the Riversidepublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 24 June

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 41-3

We're back out at the Riverside after a 13-minute break for the rain.

Sussex have to start again - Durham are on top.

  14. 50 runs

50 For Josh Bohannonpublished at 15:00 British Summer Time 24 June

    Lancs 295-2 v Kent 374

Josh Bohannon batting againt KentImage source, PA Media

Josh Bohannon reaches 50 with an aerial shot over mid on for four runs.

It's taken him 102 balls with six fours and two sixes.

There are plenty more runs out there for Bohannon if he can maintain his concentration.

  15. 50 runs

50 for Ben Green + the 100 partnershippublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 24 June

    Leicestershire 566-7 v Glamorgan 353

Ben Green had taken a liking to his old teammate Ned Leonard striking him for a few, prompting Ben Kellaway to replace the seamer.

He opened the batting alongside Tom Lammonby, his Exeter club teammate, in the Bob Willis Trophy season do not forget.

So not a bad man to have coming in down the order.

  16. Postpublished at 14:57 British Summer Time 24 June

    Gloucs 187 & 187-3 v Derbys 398

Gloucestershire match their first innings total with only three wickets down as Cameron Bancroft punches a ball from Zak Chappell through point for four. The Aussie opener moves into the 90s.

Wayne Madsen, by the way, is now back on the field (see 14:42 BST entry). Tough as old boots - and he must have worn quite a few different pairs during his long career.

  17. Postpublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 24 June

    Lancs 290-2 v Kent 374

Kent chuck the new ball for the second over to leg-spinner Matt Parkinson.

Nothing wrong with trying something a bit creative and maybe having an early use of the kookaburra ball with what little seam it has will help Parkinson.

A confident shout for lbw with his third ball tells us it might be a good decision - not out though.

  18. Postpublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 24 June

    Northants 435 v Middlesex 413 & 24-0

Middlesex clear the first innings deficit in only the fifth over of their second. Sam Robson has a couple of fours already, but it's Josh de Caires who pulls Liam Guthrie to the boundary at backward square to put the visitors in front.

  19. 50 runs

50 for Sam Hainpublished at 14:52 British Summer Time 24 June

    Warwickshire 275-5 v Somerset 498

A controlled pull shot off Matt Henry to deep square leg gets him there off 130 balls with seven fours.

Only 13 overs left to get batting bonus points now, the Bears have not seen bothered by them at all oddly, will the personal landmark being passed make Hain show some aggression now to get his team more points?

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 24 June

    Bairstow lbw b Patterson-White 41 (Notts 487 v Yorkshire 277-5)

Jonny Bairstow walks offImage source, Rex Features

Drinks does the trick for Nottinghamshire.

First ball after the break, Liam Patterson-White gets one through Jonny Bairstow's defensive prod and pins the Yorkshire captain in front of the stumps.
