    HT: Wales 10-0 Uganda

Wales with a 10-point half-time lead over Uganda after tries from Owen Jenkins and Luke Morgan.

The Welsh have had a lot of ball, and they should be further ahead.

    Uganda still in this.

And we were thinking England's Liam Pitchford and Tin-Tin Ho had one foot in the mixed doubles final... but no!

India's Sathiryan Gnanasekaran and Manika Batra show remarkable belief to fight back and take this semi-final into a decider.

It's like Real Madrid and Juventus all over again. One final twist... which way is it going to go?

    Men's rugby sevens

    A strong start from Uganda.

One, two, BOOM. Captain Michael Okorach sits down two Welsh defenders, but they lose it at the breakdown and Wales are on the board.

Owen Jenkins scores from the penalty. An easy try after Justin Tipuric made the initial break.

  4. 'Sugar me' - Nightmare moment for South African diverpublished at 02:02 British Summer Time 14 April 2018

    Women's 3m springboard preliminary

Oh no! South Africa's Julia Vincent does what I used to be scared stiff of doing as a teenager at Barnsley Metrodome... she slips on the end of the board and falls helplessly into the water.

Thankfully she avoids the board on the way down and escapes with only pride damaged. And thankfully BBC commentator Leon Taylor escapes without using a swear word...

    Men's rugby sevens

England have made their entrance to this men's rugby sevens competition, and now we get a first look at Wales.

They take on Uganda in pool D - and it's live here.

A tough start for the Welsh - and one of their two 15-a-side specialists - Justin Tipuric - is in the starting line-up.

And they've got an English referee. Hmmm...

It’s a rare cloudy morning here at the Aquatics Centre but that won’t bother the divers in the 3m preliminaries one bit.

Bright sunlight has made conditions really tricky for those diving during daylight as they were struggling to differential between the blue sky and blue water which impacts their timing - in terms of deciding when to move out of a spin, rotation or twist.

It’s resulted in some pretty spectacular mishaps, but today it’s been a relatively clean competition with all three home nation athletes set to quality for the final later today.

Scotland’s 1m champion Grace Reid as well as the English duo Alicia Blagg and Katherine Torrance (3m synchro silver medallists) all easing through.

    Q1: England 0-0 India

It's been a cagey start to this bronze medal match, with India unable to make the most of a flurry of penalty corners.

England started to pile on the pressure midway through the quarter, spear-headed by stalwart captain Alex Danson, but haven't made it count.

That was some finish. Elinor Barker was leading out Dani Rowe, Tiffany Cromwell leading out Chloe Hosking.

Rowe went first, 250m from the line, but Hosking, who had been so well looked after during the race by her team-mates, had more in reserve to take gold.

Georgia Williams of New Zealand crossed second to win silver, with Rowe taking the bronze.

Elinor Barker rolled over in seventh, with Neah Evans of Scotland eighth.

England's Mel Lowther was ninth, with team-mate Hayley Simmonds in 10th.

England's Katherine Torrance and Alicia Blagg are fourth and fifth, one place ahead of Scotland's Grace Reid.

While the athletes are all kitted out in swimsuits, everyone else at the open-air Optus Aquatic Centre is decked out in a plastic poncho. Slinging it down in Gold Coast...

There are 10 riders out clear. Four of them Australian. It looks like they are trying to set it up for their sprinter Chloe Hosking.

"With almost 50% of the group Australian, it would be embarrassing if they didn't bring home the gold now," says Chris Boardman on commentary.

Wales' Elinor Barker and Dani Rowe are very much in the mix.

But Scotland's Katie Archibald is not in there. She is fighting hard to get back in. English duo Hayley Simmonds and Mel Lowther have also got back in touch and Simmonds has gone straight through on the attack.
