    Anna Hursey has nothing to berate herself about. She did everything she could, but that was pure class from Yangzi Yiu. She came through three really tough games to win 15-13 11-9 11-9 and extend Australia's lead over Wales to 2-0.

    All three games were so close. Hursey will be disappointed but she played superbly for a 16-year-old.

    Australia took the doubles match here against Wales in the fight for bronze.

    Now it's teenager Anna Hursey in the singles. You may remember she went to the last Games aged just 11. She now has the hopes of a nation on her shoulders as Wales dream of the podium but will need to fight back from 2-0 down.

    It was tantalisingly close in the third game, especially when Wales went into a 6-2 lead, but it wasn't to be and the class told in the end in the first match of this bronze-medal encounter.

    Australia beat Wales 11-5 11-5 11-8 in match one of five.

    On a slightly more positive note for Welsh sport Lily Rice showed her talents have no end by picking up the bronze in the S8 100m backstroke.

    The 18-year-old made her name originally as a wheelchair backflipper and wheelchair motocross (WCMX) champion before being included in Wales' swimming team for the Commonwealth Games.
