  9. 'Kerry will be prepared'published at 15:13 British Summer Time 30 June

    Kerry v Derry (15:15 BST)

    Tomás Ó Sé
Five-time All-Ireland winner with Kerry on RTE Sport

Traditionally, even back in our day, you would have an easy Munster Championship and you would be weary and nervous about the quarter-final because you don't know where you are at.

They haven't been tested, so people genuinely don't know where Kerry are at but I have a feeling that they will take this game based on what happened last year. I think Kerry will be really prepared this year.

    FT: Donegal 1-23 Louth 0-18

Man of the match Peadar Mogan speaking to RTE Sport: "The people of Donegal are crying out for a team to support. All we want to do is give them that, you can hear the cheers, it's a football mad county.

We're delighted to be fit to give these people another day out in Croke Park."

  11. The state of playpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 30 June

    FT: Donegal 1-23 Louth 0-18

Just a reminder that the only way we were to have a semi-final draw was with a Louth victory.

So, because Armagh have already faced both Donegal and Galway in the championship this year, the Orchard County will meet the winner of Derry and Kerry in the last four.

Donegal already know they'll play Galway.

  12. 'I feel there is more in this Donegal side'published at 15:01 British Summer Time 30 June

    Donegal 1-23 Louth 0-18

    Peter Canavan
Former Tyrone captain on RTE Sport

They can play a lot better. They did what they had to do and I feel there is more in this Donegal side.

They'll have to up it a level against Galway in a semi-final. They're a smart team, they can play different styles of football.

They have a few weeks to figure out how to get the best of Galway.

  13. Team newspublished at 14:58 British Summer Time 30 June

Kerry v Derry, Croke Park, 15:15 BST

Now that the All-Ireland champions Dublin are gone the winners of this one will feel that they are in pole position to lift Sam.

Derry steadied the ship in dramatic fashion after a torrid 12 weeks with a penalty shoot-out victory over Mayo in Castlebar.

It begs two questions, are Derry back as genuine contenders and just how much did that titanic battle little over a week ago take out of Mickey Harte's side physically.

The Derry half-back line looks a lot more solid with names such as Conor Doherty, Gareth McKinless and Eoin McEvoy listed to start while, Lachlan Murray has showed the makings of a top player alongside Shane McGuigan inside.

The oakleaf bench also includes the return of Niall Loughlin who has missed large stretches through injury and could provide a boost if needed down the stretch.

Kerry are known as 'The Kingdom' for a reason and look favourites to progress the one blemish on their perfect summer record is that they are not road tested, the believe a battle is what they need but is it a battle they can survive.

Their inside line of Sean O'Shea, Paul Geaney and that man David Clifford suggests they can battle anyone to victory.

Mickey Harte's conundrum will be who will mark David Clifford or to maybe put it a better way who can stop him doing as much damage as possible.

The winners will take on Armagh in the last four in two weeks time.

Meath's David Coldrick will be the man in the middle.

No changes to either side ahead of throw-in has now been confirmed.

  14. Full-timepublished at 14:55 British Summer Time 30 June

    Donegal 1-23 Louth 0-18

Donegal have cruised into the semi-finals of the All-Ireland senior football championship for the first time since 2014 where they will meet Galway in a fortnight's time.

Donegal kicked 1-11 from play across a much improved second half showing which I'm sure was inspired by the wrath of Jim McGuinness at the break.

The Donegal manager won't be happy with all of the performance and they have plenty to work on ahead of bigger days yet to come.

Eoghan Ban Gallagher's third quarter goal helped break the Louth resistance, the 'wee' county doing themselves justice in a brave performance on their first ever time at this stage.

Peadar Mogan was once again incredible, kicking 0-5 all from play from left half back.

It's some achievement for them. What they've achieved so far this season in terms of promotion, winning the Ulster championship. Now to be heading back to an All-Ireland semi-final, their first since 2014 when Jim McGuinness was last in charge.

When you look at where they were this time last year, it's unbelievable progress in that short period of time.
