We were looking down at Jim McGuinness towards the end of the first half. He was annoyed, visibly annoyed, which you wouldn't often see from him.
I'd say there's a good chance the Donegal players got a bit of a roasting at half-time.

Oisin Gallen has been on fire this summer, his accuracy is unbelievable.

In all my years coming to Croke Park I don't think I've ever seen this.
The four flagpoles on Hill 16 flying the county flags of the four competing teams in today's All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals are a pretty unique double of two red and white - for Louth and Derry - and two green and gold - for Donegal and Kerry.
And before anyone starts mentioning Tyrone v Cork / Derry encounters can I stop you right there, because it's a common misconception - Tyrone's flag is actually white at the flagpost and then red.
Donegal 0-11 Louth 0-8
Donegal are certainly not getting it all their own way in a quarter-final contest they were heavy favourites for.
The 'wee' county are more than a match for Jim McGuinness' side and proving that they deserve to be at this stage for the first time.
Niall McDonnell is getting his kick-outs away at the speed of light which is negating the Donegal press.
Tommy Durnin and Bevan Duffy have been instrumental in the middle as has Sam Mulroy from placed balls.
Ciaran Moore has been the pick for Donegal so far but i'm sure Jim will have a stern word underneath the Cusack Stand over the next fifteen minutes.
Donegal 0-11 Louth 0-8

Eamonn Fitzmaurice

Louth's plan is that they won't be worried if their shots go wide because they'll get back into shape.
Their big thing that they want to avoid is the turnover and giving Donegal those counter attacks that they are so good at.
Donegal 0-10 Louth 0-8
Peadar Mogan gets in fairly easily and fists over for his second of the day.
Donegal 0-9 Louth 0-8

Jim McGuinness has grown increasingly agitated down on the touchline.
It's not hard to see why - Louth are getting enough joy when they attack to cause Donegal in numbers, and when a talismanic figure like Sam Mulroy has brought his shooting boots, it's going to cause any defence a headache or two.
Donegal 0-9 Louth 0-8
Five added minutes.
