The atmosphere is quite flat here with the huge Louth support subdued by Donegal's scoring power in this second half.

The Derry and Kerry fans are starting to come in for the second game which has boosted the numbers but there's none of the excitement to match what we saw last night with Galway's epic win over outgoing champions Dublin.

Maybe there will be plenty of drama to come in the second game today, we certainly hope so.

Donegal Goal - Eoghan Ban Gallagherpublished at 14:39 British Summer Time 30 June

    Donegal 1-18 Louth 0-14

After a check for square ball the Donegal goal stands.

It was a sort of samba style move from the men in green and yellow and Patrick McBrearty's effort his somehow kept out.

Eoghan Ban Gallagher stays outside the square and finishes to the net soccer style.

    Eamonn Fitzmaurice
Former Kerry manager on RTE Sport

You'd just be surprised they don't use it more. I was watching Patton before hand his range and accuracy of kicking is just breath taking.

It just seems so easy when they can get it past half way with one kick, move it on and get scores 10 seconds later.

Seems the easier way to get scores rather than carry it the whole way up the pitch.

    Donegal 0-16 Louth 0-11

    Eamonn Fitzmaurice
Former Kerry manager on RTE Sport

Donegal are sloppy, a lot sloppier than you'd be accustomed to. Jim McGuinness is not happy with them. They're still five points ahead, they're doing enough.

It's probably not the performance they were planning for.
