Big pull shot from the left-hander off Haris Sohail, but Yasir Shah almost takes a spectacular one-hander on the fence. He can't cling on though and tips it over the rope.

Big pull shot from the left-hander off Haris Sohail, but Yasir Shah almost takes a spectacular one-hander on the fence. He can't cling on though and tips it over the rope.
Shahid Afridi comes back on to bowl and Kohli shows some aggression, but inside edges between his legs as he tries to pull the ball away. He gets three for his efforts much to Afridi's disgust.
Yamin Zarolia: Play it like it's twenty20 now lads! Got eight spare with 20 overs.
Zimbabwe's spirited reply continues, despite the underdogs losing Sikandar Raza in the seventh over. Raza's feet looked like they had been planted in quicksand as Vernon Philander's delivery whizzed past his eyeline and sent the stumps scattering.
But Chamu Chibhabha is still sending the white ball scuttling towards the boundary rope, leaving Zimbabwe's scorecard looking far healthier than South Africa's did at the same stage.
We're rattling through these overs now with spin from both ends. Looks like a drop from Umar Akmal behind the stumps off Haris Sohail as an outside edge from Kohli bounces around his gloves without ever settling. Big chance!
Ian Watmore: Pakistani crowd erupt with out decision. Indian crowd cheer top innings by Dhawan. Great, great atmosphere.
Steady accumulation resumes for India against Yasir Shah as they look to rebuild after that set-back of Dhawan's run out.

"A seat at the top of the stand gave an excellent view of the contrasting emotions sparked by that Dhawan run out. The batsman himself had removed some kit while he waited for the decision and blasted a glove with his bat when he got the thumbs down. Meanwhile, a Pakistan fan in front of me celebrated by battering the seats with his inflatable bat."

"Younus Khan is good with the direct hits... he's very smart for a 37-year-old."
India 165-2 (30 overs) after winning toss
Batsmen: Kohli 71*, Raina 0*
Fall of wickets: 1-34 (R Sharma 15), 2-163 (Dhawan 73)
Bowling figures: Mohammed Irfan 7-0-33-0, Sohail Khan 6-0-22-1, Shahid Afridi 4-0-23-0, Wahab Riaz 5-0-27-0, Yasir Shah 6-0-44-0, Haris Sohail 2-0-14-0
Suresh Raina is the new man in for India after that partnership was broken. Haris Sohail was the bowler and that's a huge breakthrough for Pakistan to end that second-wicket partnership of 129.
And it's given out. Kohli turns one off his legs and both batsmen set off before changing their mind as Younus Khan comes in at mid-wicket. Throw at the non-striker's end hits the stumps and, despite a dive, Dhawan is inches short of getting home.
Run-out chance here for Pakistan. Kohli and Dhawan get in a tangle as they turn down a single and we're looking at the replay.

"There's been no fireworks. India have just gone about it quietly and have put the ball into the gaps. I think they will start to accelerate in six or seven overs."
Shikhar Dhawan skips down the track and lofts Yasir Shah over deep mid-wicket for four. Lovely placement to bring up the 150. Shows some more class with a drive through the covers for four more as he shimmies around in his crease to give him some room.
Naren R: SA also go past 300 Is the tournament of 300+ scores? Might as well have bowling machines instead of bowlers.
Over in Hamilton meanwhile, decent start from Zimbabwe as they chip away at that total of 340 set by the South Africans. Chamu Chibhabha is taking the lead, cracking four boundaries in the opening five overs.
Change of bowling at the Adelaide Oval and on comes Haris Sohail with his slow left-armers. Can he "spook" these two in to making a mistake? Not much to report from his first set of six balls. As Geoffrey says, more steady accumulation.

"The batsmen haven't been worried about any great movement or spin. It's just been, 'I'll get a quiet little fifty here and after 30 overs I'll have a look at what we can do'."
