  1. Drinks breakpublished at 10:31 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Medium-fast seamer Darren Sammy into the attack for the first time today, he's more about guile than outright pace, Ervine goes aerial again, but it doesn't quite carry to the square-leg boundary fielder. Another four through the covers keeps him going. Time for drinks.

At this point, Zimbabwe need 150 more from 96 balls.

  3. Dropped catchpublished at 10:27 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

After an over of Taylor, West Indies turn back to front-line spinner Nikita Miller who has changed ends and still has five overs in his allocation. Ervine aims a big blast over the bowler's head and is dropped by Jerome Taylor running round from long-on. He got fingertips from both hands to it but couldn't hang on and the ball slips part him for four.

  6. Zim 197-5 (target 363 from 48)published at 10:23 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Ervine - very much the senior partner now - drills a four through long-on and swats Holder for a flat six over cow corner, before the Windies captain serves up a pie of a slow bouncer which the left-hander clatters for four through the leg side. 16 form the over - but with the required rate north of nine, Zimbabwe will need plenty more like that.

Sean Williams has now made eight scores over 70 without reaching 80 in ODIs.

This is the longest sequence of failing to convert 70 to 80. There are six players who failed to convert 70 into 80 five times in a row: Javed Miandad, Andy Flower, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Damien Martyn, Misbah-ul-Haq, Ross Taylor.

  8. Zim 181-5published at 10:19 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Samuels gets the hook after nine overs and West Indies turn back to the pace of Jerome Taylor against the right-handed Matsikenyeri, who has quite a high backlift, waiting with the bat almost above the horizontal as the bowler approaches. Taylor is off-target with a couple of wides, and Matsikenyeri is off the mark with a cut down to third man where Darren Sammy, who has been signing as many autographs as he can down on the boundary, is called upon to do the fielding.

Zimbabwe are just about halfway - they need 182 from 19 overs (114 balls) but only have five more wickets to play with.

  10. Zim 177-5 (target 363 from 48)published at 10:13 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

The new batsman is Stuart Matsikenyeri, preferred today to Solomon Mire. Although billed as an all-rounder by the host broadcaster, Matsikenyeri is primarily a batsman - and he wasn't asked to bowl today. Captain Holder has 3-32 from six overs.

"Williams has gone back, swivelled but not got on top of it. Holder tried a few bouncers earlier and this one has got the wicket. He has come in under a pressure and he managed to play aggressively throughout. The question is, can Zimbabwe still maintain this?"

  12. WICKETpublished at 10:10 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Captain Holder's frustration ends - as does Williams's brave knock - as he top-edges a lifter and is easily caught at square leg. It means he misses his ODI best score of 78 not out by two runs.

  14. Zim 174-4 (target 363 from 48)published at 10:06 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Samuels into his ninth over, and Ervine is moving up through the gears as he sweeps and pulls the off-spinner for successive fours. Samuels has 1-59 from nine, and these two have added 48.

  15. Zim 164-4published at 10:03 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Change of bowler, same action as Holder takes Russell out of the attack and brings himself back on. I'm sure he'll be aware that while Zimbabwe are jogging along at over six an over, the required rate is nearer nine than eight. Williams adds a single, but Ervine seems to be using up rather a lot of dot balls - he has six from 13. Williams, with singles at the start and end of the over, has 74 from 56.

  17. Zim 161-4 (target 363 from 48)published at 09:59 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

West Indies have Kemar Roach on to do some substitute fielding - Zimbabwean eyes will be on Williams after that visit from the physio, but nine runs from the over indicates something must be working.

Remarkably, at this stage, West Indies were... 107-1.

  19. Ouch!published at 09:56 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Williams has a visit from the Zimbabwe physio between overs. Looks like a touch of cramp for the left-hander, who has his leg manipulated before the physio lies him on his front and gives him a karate chop-style massage on the back of his leg. He doesn't look entirely happy with the situation, but eventually springs back into action.
