  1. Zim 152-4 (Williams 63*, Ervine 4*)published at 09:55 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

It's not been Andre Russell's day so far, he strays onto Sean Williams's leg stump and the left-hander gratefully on-drives him for four. Lendl Simmons - who has a bullet of a throw from the deep - is kept busy on the boundary as Williams keeps working Russell to leg.

  3. Zim 144-4 (target 363 from 48)published at 09:51 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Samuels wheels away for his seventh successive over, I wonder if we might see his partner-in-runs Chris Gayle have a little off-spinning trundle today? It's a better over from the Windies as it only costs two runs, with Ervine - left-handed like his brother Sean who plays for English county side Hampshire - getting a little tied down by Samuels.

"Williams has got a bit to do if Zimbabwe are to get over the line, but he has manipulated the spinners well. He was able to change the field against the spinners, which is a good sign. He looks an elegant left-hander."

  5. Williams 50published at 09:49 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Sean Williams reaches his 19th ODI fifty (in his 72nd match) from 39 balls with a well-run two - but he'll probably have to exceed his previous best score of 78 not out if Zimbabwe are to make any kind of challenge for this game. Russell comes round the wicket to Ervine, but only succeeds in overstepping for a no-ball, handing Ervine a free hit. The free hit ball is skied over the covers... but that's a no-ball as well so now Williams has a free hit. Next ball is a wide... so Williams has another free hit - which he blasts over mid-on for four.

  7. Zim 130-4 (target 363 from 48)published at 09:42 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Craig Ervine is the new batsman. He pushes his first ball for a quick single and Williams has to pull out the full-length dive to get home at the striker's end before Ramdin removes the flashing bails. Can't imagine Ervine would have been too popular if he'd run Williams out first ball... Captain Holder makes a good stop in the covers, leading by example.

Now, was that glove? Forearm? The third umpire's verdict is... out! The television pictures weren't particularly conclusive but clearly there was sufficient contact for the on-field decision to be overturned.

  13. Zim 126-3 (target 363 from 48)published at 09:36 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

A change of bowling - 10 overs of spin hasn't made a breakthrough. If West Indies have a problem, if no-one else can help, and if they can find him, maybe they can turn to... Andre Russell. The mohawk-sporting pace bowler keeps it tight against Williams and Taylor, who take a couple of singles and a two from the over.

The good news is this: we have reached 20 overs, so we have a match - and if it rains, it'll go to Duckworth-Lewis.

  15. Drinks breakpublished at 09:29 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Samuels shares a joke with umpire Ian Gould before beginning a new over, Zimbabwe are rattling along quite nicely here as Williams works another four to leg. Seven from the over - but the required rate is still above eight. Time for drinks - and a chance for the Windies to have a rethink.

  16. Zim 115-3 (Taylor 35*, Williams 36*)published at 09:25 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

West Indies are racing through these overs here with the spinners on, perhaps with an eye of getting to 20. Dwayne Smith, who was out second ball this morning, gifts Williams a four when he tries to slide-tackle the ball feet first at mid-off (rather than going head - and hands - first) but fails to make contact. Taylor emulates Williams with a reverse-swept four, Miller has 0-36 from five.

  17. Zim 105-3 (target 363 from 48)published at 09:21 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Williams forces Samuels for what he thinks is two - but after viewing a number of replays, the third umpire Ranmore Martinesz rules that Andre Russell's foot was on the rope as he retrieved the ball, so it's four for the left-hander. Samuels has 0-27 from four.

And if you weren't with us a little earlier, two overs were knocked off Zimbabwe's innings because of a rain delay - so we have an adjusted D/L target.

  19. Zim 98-3 (Taylor 28*, Williams 26*)published at 09:18 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2015

Williams is living dangerously here. After nearly reverse-sweeping Miller onto his stumps, he lifts the slow left-armer high into the night sky over mid-wicket but the ball falls safely between fielders. But a more classy reverse sweep - which has more than a touch of the Eoin Morgans about if - does bring him four. That's the fifty stand. They need (deep breath) another 265 from 32 overs, at a required rate of more than eight.
