"Welcome to Dunedin, the most southern city in New Zealand and about as far away from the UK you can get to without venturing to the middle of the Pacific. We're are also in Little Scotland - a city named after the Gaelic word for Edinburgh.
"As you wander through the Saltires, you browse the 'Scotland Shop', buy an oatcake (the Scottish, not Staffordshire kind) and drink in the Robbie Burns Pub. The weather, however, is slightly warmer than north of Hadrian's Wall, though I did overhear a member of the TV crew saying it was -1 first thing this morning."
