Somerset director of cricket Matt Maynard:

"I thought our batting was pretty good on a dry pitch and we were satisfied with a score of 174.

"We then had the game taken away from us by two quality batsmen and I would prefer to praise them than be critical of our bowlers.

"If there was an area of concern it was that Gloucestershire out-fielded us and we need to work on that."

  2. Postpublished at 21:30 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

BBC county cricket broadcaster Lizzy Ammon: "It is looking like it's going to be a canter home for Kent, especially after Sam Billings has just launched that six towards the hospitality area. It might only be an over or so more before they get home."

BBC Sport's Adam Williams at the Ageas Bowl: "Michael Carberry's classy knock is over and have Hampshire's hopes gone with it?

"The former England opener struck 70 off 36 balls but it was Glamorgan captain Jacques Rudolph who ended his onslaught with a catch on the boundary."

And the Hampshire slide has continued, as Will Smith falls for two, meaning the hosts require 56 runs with five wickets and 24 balls remaining.

There's a break in play at Hove as a streaker takes to the pitch and swan dives into the stumps. Not particularly pleasant viewing - spare a thought for the poor stewards who have to chase him.

Kent have ticked along nicely without losing any further wickets. They need just 24 more runs, with Alex Blake having made an excellent 42 from 23 balls.

  6. Worcestershire beat Nottinghamshire by 20 runspublished at 21:21 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Nottinghamshire won't be entirely sure how they've lost this one, but it's Worcestershire who take home the two points from Trent Bridge.

Alex Hales looked to be firing the Outlaws to victory, but his dismissal turned the match on its head as Worcestershire cruised to a 20-run victory.

Daryl Mitchell was the pick of the Rapids bowlers, the captain conceding only 18 runs from his four overs and getting the vital wicket of Hales in the process.

Just when he looked like guiding Hampshire to victory, Michael Carberry is out for 70 and the hosts need 65 to win with six overs left.

A close finish on the cards at the Ageas Bowl.

Surely, if you weren't with us at the time, you'll have heard about it by now?

Earlier on, Brendon McCullum struck an unbeaten 158 to guide Birmingham Bears to victory over Derbyshire at Edgbaston - the second highest score in T20 history.

The New Zealand captain brought his hundred up off 42 balls and carried his bat as Warwickshire made 242-4.

  9. Birmingham beat Derbyshire by 60 runspublished at 21:19 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

A brave effort from Derbyshire - but after that sensational innings from Brendon McCullum, they were always up against it.

Every batsman came out and had a go, which was pleasing for the crowd - Hamish Rutherford got off to a flyer but Birmingham held their nerve well.

Tonight, however, belongs to McCullum. One of the most remarkable displays of T20 hitting you're likely to see.

  10. Lancashire beat Yorkshire by 29 runspublished at 21:15 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

A night to remember for Lancashire, as they complete a Roses double over Yorkshire.

Their 29-run win was set up by a mammoth total of 231-4 - Lancashire's highest in T20 cricket. Not a bad effort after losing the toss and being put into bat.

Aaron Finch and Andrew Gale started well in reply, but a stunning spell of bowling from Stephen Parry swung the match firmly in Lancashire's favour.

  11. Bresnan hits 50published at 21:13 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

A defiant 51 from Tim Bresnan off 24 balls, his first fifty in T20 cricket, but it's in a losing cause for Yorkshire. Ashwell Prince takes a superb catch on the boundary and Lancashire are close to victory.

BBC Radio Nottingham's Paul Johnson: "Notts have made a bit of a mess of this. From about over eight they wasted deliveries to score and two sets of two wickets, back-to-back, did not help them. But the dismissals of Alex Hales and Riki Wessels when they looked set has been the key."

  13. Postpublished at 21:08 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Tim Bresnan hasn't given up on victory. Either that, or he's just having a bit of fun. He hits two big sixes and four in three balls off Steven Croft. Just the 59 runs needed off the last two overs for Yorkshire.

  14. Postpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

It's a similar scenario for Yorkshire at Old Trafford - they need 79 to win from the last three overs.

  15. The Bears on the brinkpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

It's falling away rather quickly now for Derbyshire as Will Porterfield takes a steepling catch to dismiss Shiv Thakor for three.

Tom Knight is next to go, trapped on the crease by Jeetan Patel for 22, and Derbyshire need 86 runs from 24 balls. I don't think even Brendon McCullum could do that.

  16. Postpublished at 21:03 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

BBC Radio Nottingham's Paul Johnson: "There is a mass exodus after Steven Mullaney's wicket. A lot of the crowd think it is all over already and are heading for the car park."

  17. Postpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

There's been a quick clatter of wickets at Hove, as Kent stumble in their relatively simple chase.

Sam Northeast falls to a fine catch by George Bailey as he tried to cut Ollie Robinson through the covers, before Fabian Cowdrey is caught by Michael Beer.

There's some resistance from Sam Billings, however, as he thrashes Chris Liddle for consecutive boundaries.

Nottinghamshire's powerplay fireworks feel a very long time ago, as the run rate has climbed to nearly 14 an over.

Australian all-rounder Dan Christian tries to fight back as he strikes two much-needed boundaries off Worcestershire spinner Brett D'Oliveira.

But Samit Patel is caught off the bowling of Saeed Ajmal, before the Pakistan spinner bowls Christian with the very next ball to leave the Outlaws in deep trouble.

  19. Surrey beat Middlesex by eight wicketspublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Surrey powered to an eight-wicket win against Middlesex, thanks to a fine bowling display from Zafar Ansari and an unbeaten partnership between Kumar Sangakkara and Gary Wilson.

Ansari took three wickets as Middlesex collapsed, losing England one-day captain Eoin Morgan for just eight runs as they limped to 105-9.

Surrey, by contrast, stormed their innings, including a superb 13th over, with 21 runs scored and 17 contributed by Sangakkara.

Sangakkara (40 not out) and Gary Wilson combined with a 69-run unbeaten third-wicket partnership to help the hosts to victory at The Oval.

BBC Sport's Adam Williams at the Ageas Bowl: "Just as Michael Carberry and James Vince looked like they could bat all night untroubled, Vince goes to a relatively soft dismissal.

"The Hampshire captain attempted to loft Andrew Salter over the rope but only found Dean Cosker in the deep and falls for 28. Hampshire still well set, though."
