"To win the series is a seriously good performance, because England were horribly outplayed in the first match. The way England have come back is very heartening."

    Yup, it carried to Rashid.

England win the series 3-1. Morgan calls the players in for a huddle to celebrate. It's been a good comeback after the heavy defeat in the first ODI.

Jos Buttler will be Man of the Match for England's fastest ever ODI hundred. There can't be many England players who, like Roy, score their maiden ODI hundred in a victory, and miss out on the award.

England think they've won it... but Anwar's cut carry to Rashid? The umpires are having a look...

  7. Pak 271-9 (Anwar 24, Irfan 0)published at 40 overs

England need one wicket to win the series 3-1

Woakes hits Irfan on the upper arm with a bouncer that would have been chin music for most cricketers. He stubbornly hangs on, aware that he has no shots to play, but refusing to get out. There are smiles on the faces of the England fielders.

"We have to give credit to the guys who have prepared the pitch. The wicket has had true bounce and allowed batters to express themselves."

"What a good game it has been. We've seen some terrific batting. Pakistan have kept up with the run rate, that hasn't been their problem, but they've lost wickets all the way through."

All over bar the Irfan. Yasir skies one chasing after it, and it's an easy catch for Woakes in the deep.

    Pak 270-8 (Yasir 5, Anwar 23)published at 38 overs

Current run rate 7.10, required 7.16

Willey has hurt his hand diving in for a steepling catch. He covered around 40 yards as Anwar skied one. The Northants/Yorkshire all-rounder could only get there in time to get one finger on his left (bowling) hand under the ball as it landed. It looked like that hurt. It would have been an incredible catch.

Woakes finishes the over by beating Yasir's outside edge. I think the way to describe Yasir is 'portly'. His tucked-in green shirt doesn't help his figure much.

Max Baggins-Craig: What a superb display from England, slow starter, but well worth it.

Fearny: What is the world coming to? Not only are England winning an ODI, but winning the series away from home!

  14. Pak 266-8 (Yasir 3, Anwar 21)published at 37 overs

Need 90 more from 78 balls

Once again Pakistan get a boundary off the last delivery, but they'll need a lot more than that in the 12 remaning overs if they're to get close.

Stuart Mitchell: This ODI is becoming a classic, especially if Pakistan can get close, two brilliant catches by Hales make up for the dolly.

One of the problems of the situation Pakistan find themselves in is that they have to take risks, and Riaz goes to drive Moeen through extra cover, mis-times it, and ends up smashing it back towards the sternum of the bowler. Moeen had a bit more time than he thought to clutch it, but he was very relieved to find that it had stuck into his hands.

Surely that's it for Pakistan now? Sarfraz comes down the pitch and hits Rashid straight to Willey at mid-on. Willey does well to hold on.
