Maqsood st Billings b Moeen 24 (Pak 75-7)

It's death by spin for Pakistan. Maqsood is the latest to go, charging Moeen and missing it down the leg side, and Billings does brilliantly to gather and take the bails off. Surely that's the game?

"It's very intelligent bowling. A new batsman - he took the pace off the ball, it looped, it turned a fraction. Shahid Afridi, who came in to a tumultuous reception, has hit his second ball straight to mid-off."

It gets worse for Pakistan - now the captain is back in the hutch. It's great bowling from Parry again, taking all the pace off the ball and inducing Boom Boom to chip a soft catch to mid-off.

"That was a terrible mix-up, but it's also extremely tight as to who got in. They were sprinting together to get to the non-striker's end."

    U Akmal run out 19 (Pak 74-5)

We've seen some great run-outs by Pakistan on this tour. But I think this might be my favourite yet. Maqsood miscues a pull along the ground to midwicket and sets off - but Umar Akmal decides he doesn't want the run halfway down and the two end up racing each other to the non-striker's end while Billings calmly takes the bails off at the striker's end. A shambles.

That is just brutal. Slightly short from Parry and when you're bowling that slowly, you're asking for trouble. Heaved almost 100 metres into the stands by Maqsood. But then...

A good end to the over from Moeen, just two runs off the last three balls.

  11. Pak 66-4published at 10.3 overs

Umar Akmal beats gully with a clever backward cut that goes to the boundary.

  13. Pak 60-4 (need 101 off 60)published at 10 overs

Very, very good over from Parry - just four singles from it, varying his pace and flight devilishly.

England have gone spin-crazy! Moeen and Parry on, and Adil Rashid still waiting in the wings. Maqsood uses his feet to Moeen and that's gone all the way - huge swing of the bat and it's dropped in the England coaching dug-out! Dear oh dear - eyes on the ball, lads!

"A lovely piece of bowling - and a very confident piece of bowling. It's a delight to see the variation of pace. That was very slow - 43mph. The batsman had more or less completed his shot before the ball had passed him. He made the batsman look stupid."
