Stumped by a mile. Stafanie Taylor draws Leigh Kasperek out, Merissa Aguilliera does the rest. 19 needed off the last over. No chance, surely?

More spin - the Kiwis really have been suffocated by it. Stafanie Taylor refuses to be taken for the big shot.

"I would argue that West Indies’ ground fielding is up there with the best in the tournament."

"It is amazing. You can run through the group stages but it is so key that everyone gets game time."
New Zealand need 25 from two overs. They've only hit three fours in the last 10. Surely they're cooked now? It would be incredible if they pull this off.

"The West Indies feel that they are there."
Perkins c Dottin b Quintyne 2 (NZ 116-6)
New Zealand are falling apart and West Indies are on the way to the final. Katie Perkins cuts to Deandra Dottin at point. Three wickets in eight balls. Incredible stuff.

"30 off 18 is a big ask."

"Two set batters gone in two balls, what were you thinking Sara McGlashan?"
Both established batters gone, Katey Martin and Katie Perkins both at the crease on nought. Has the game just been lost in the space of two deliveries? Martin sweeps for four, but the Kiwis need 10 an over.

"Oh New Zealand what are you doing?"
McGlashan c Campbelle b Taylor 38 (NZ 108-5)
Two in two! The same combo! Sara McGlashan, bizarrely, lobs to deep cover to pick out Shermaine Campbelle. West Indies right on top now.
Sattherthwaite c Campbelle b Taylor 24 (NZ 108-4)
West Indies strike just as New Zealand start to move. Amy Satterthwaite sweeps at StafanieTaylor, but straight to the hands of deep mid-wicket. The pendulum swings back towards the ladies in maroon.
New Zealand need another of those big overs to get the chase under control, but at least Suzie Bates is smiling again. McGlashan, breathing hard, uses her feet to the leggies of Shaquana Quintyne, kncoking and running. Six from the over. Still more boundaries required.

"I think it is back in New Zealand’s favour after that over. I had thought West Indies had clawed it back but 13 off that over has really thrown it back into New Zealand’s favour."
Much-needed boundary for the Kiwis, a Matthews full toss almost sconning McGlashan, who somehow pulls it for four. It's a no-ball, a free hit, but there's no further damage. When Satterthwaite gets inside a short ball, the White Ferns have 13 from the over. Finally moving.
Back come Dottin with her meds - the Kiwis might be pleased to see more pace on the ball. When do they tickle the accelerator? McGlashan can certainly give it a whack. New Zealand skipper Suzie Bates cuts a worried figure in the dugout. Dots build. Only three from the over. Windies on top.

"I don’t know which way to call it. If West Indies take the pace off the ball, I think that could change the dynamics. I think this is going down to the wire."
I can't help but feel that New Zealand are falling too far behind here. Like England yesterday, once you're off the pace, it's tough to catch up in the women's game. Still no boundary. 59 needed in seven overs. Tough ask.
