    King c Satterthwaite b Devine 4 (WI 140-5)

Where would New Zealand be without Sophie Devine? She picks up her fourth wicket when Stacy-Ann King miscues a slower ball and picks out the safe hands of Amy Satterthwaite at long-off. Devine bats three too...

"This will be a competitive total anyway but if the West Indies get to 145 in this last over they will be really happy."

  3. WI 135-4published at 19 overs

Suzie Bates to bowl the penultimate over. A couple of close shaves for West Indies - first Aguilleira just about survives a run-out appeal when she scampers home for a two, then she gets away with a huge heave up in the air which just evades the diving Amy Satterthwaite. No boundaries for West Indies, but good running makes it a decent over - nine from it.

"West Indies can't afford to drop down and finish at 135, which could happen. You lose a couple of wickets and all the momentum is gone."

  6. WI 126-4published at 18 overs

Aguillera replaces Britney at the crease - Merissa Aguilleira that is. Stacy-Ann King is the other batter. 12 balls left...

"West Indies now in a spot of bother because coming towards the business end, they have lost their two set batsmen."

"It was a really good innings from Cooper. She has proved the critics wrong in someways. She's been struggling with her back and hasn’t moved well."

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.5 overs

    Cooper c Priest b Devine 61 (WI 125-4)

And now Cooper's back in the hutch! What a good fightback this is by New Zealand, led by Sophie Devine. She entices Cooper to reach for one outside off and draws a thick outside edge through to the keeper. This could be a crucial momentum shift in this match...

"Fine leg was back, it makes you wonder why Dottin made that decision."

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.2 overs

    Dottin b Devine 20 (WI 122-3)

New Zealand needed that. Too cute from Dottin, trying to ramp Sophie Devine over his shoulder but missing the ball and getting her leg stump splattered. That could cost West Indies some crucial firepower in these death overs.

"This is unusual for New Zealand. They have not been manhandled by anyone so far in this tournament. Fabulous stuff from Britney Cooper."

    WI 122-2

Kasperek returns. She's the tournament's star bowler and leading wicket-taker, but Britney Cooper is no respecter of reputations. She lofts her straight down the ground - for a moment, it looks like Amy Satterthwaite might be in the game, but she can't quite reel it in and ends up palming the ball for six. Next ball Cooper goes straight again and this time she clears the rope comfortably. New Zealand were favourites for this game but they are in big trouble here...

"It is set up nice for an explosion. I wonder if West Indies can get past that 145 mark, that would be very good going."

  15. WI 105-2 (run rate 6.56)published at 16 overs

West Indies just struggling to find the boundary at the moment. Cooper hits to deep point for two, but Satterthwaite keeps it pretty tight, just five from the over. Can New Zealand's women do to West Indies what England did to New Zealand's men yesterday?

  16. WI 100-2published at 15 overs

New Zealand need to get a grip on this, or West Indies could put up a serious score. Erin Bermingham wrests control of sorts with a tight over, conceding only four singles, but West Indies still bring the 100 up with five overs to go. Now can they go big?

Steve Milner: She's got her left arm in, her right arm out! She's doing the Hokey Cokey but she's been run out!

Alfred Shaw: At one point in your career did you have to choose between cricket and ballet?

Chris Gibbons: I reckon if you'd run using your feet rather than one knee and your face you might have made it.

  18. WI 96-2 (Cooper 43, Dottin 12)published at 14 overs

New Zealand are going through the full repertoire of bowlers today, Amy Satterthwaite becomes the seventh used. She doesn't have any better luck than the rest though, getting smashed on the sweep by Dottin for four.
