Good start for Sri Lanka. David Willey fails to get much movement and is nudged around before Gunathilaka times the pants off a drive that beats Eoin Morgan at wide mid-off before skipping off to the rope. Willey shakes his head. He'll head off to fine tune his radar.
Phil Tufnell
Ex-England spinner on BBC Test Match Special
"Here's a sight a didn't expect to see today: the guys out in the middle."
David Willey and the rest of the England seam attack will fancy their chances of making these conditions count in their favour. The Yorkshire player has the ball in his hand. Here we go...
Alec Stewart
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
"It shows that we're not just reliant on Joe Root, because it shows we can win cricket matches without his contribution. He's still England's best player. I've got no worries about him - he'll come out of this 'slump', if that's what you want to call it, and he'll be a better player for it."

Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
On spinner Moeen Ali's return in place of seamer Chris Jordan: "If the ball is wet it's really hard for a spinner to grip it and get some purchase."
Here come the teams. Looks like we are at least going to start on time. Keep your fingers crossed.
Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special
"I've been really impressed with Liam Plunkett - when the ball's not moving you need that extra bit of oomph."
Alec Stewart
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
"It's a young emerging Sri Lanka side. I've spent a lot of time with coach Graham Ford while he's been here, and he's seen some progress from this team. This is all part of their learning curve."
We now have a small shower at the Oval. The covers are staying off but the fourth umpire is lurking, poised to make a call if he has to.
This is likely to be the story of the day. English summers, eh.
England v Sri Lanka (13:00 BST)
Captain Eoin Morgan hopes the weather will not be a distraction today.
England take a 1-0 lead into this game, with one victory sandwiched between an opening tie and an abandoned third ODI.
"We're hungry to do well as a side, hungry to learn and stay together as a group," he told BBC Sport.
"We've done that a little bit so far, but this series has been a bit stop-start, so we're keen to play and hopefully put in a good, solid performance."
Alec Stewart
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
"England have been outstanding in this series, especially in those first 10-15 overs. They have generally taken a wicket and not allowed Sri Lanka to play their natural game."
England captain Eoin Morgan on the possibility of interruptions, on TMS: "It can become a challenge but the skill is not to let it affect you."
Alec Stewart
Ex-England captain on BBC Test Match Special
"If you take away the overhead conditions I'd bat first, but I fully understand why Morgan has decided to bowl first. The ball will nip around, it may swing around a bit and under Duckworth-Lewis you're at a slight advantage if you bat last."
BBC Weather's John Hammond: "I hate to be the profit of doom but it is going to rain. I don't think it will be as bad as the forecast suggests, with rain symbols over every hour.
"There is rain west of the Oval now and I expect it to reach the ground. It will be that light, intermittent rain that will challenge the umpires. judgement It will be on and off but not a wash-out. We will see some play but I am not sure how much."
England v Sri Lanka (13:00 BST)
So, no changes for Sri Lanka as they go in search of a series-saving win. Just the one for England as they opt for the spinning all-round skills of Moeen Ali as opposed to the seam of Chris Jordan.
It is a sell-out at the Oval. There will be a lot of disappointed folks if we lose another game to the damn rain.

Sam Ager: Mooen Ali just scored an outrageous bycyle kick in the warm up. Why was he not in the Euros squad?
