  1. Coming up next...published at 18:00 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

As Heather suggests, there's one more match in this series - the third and final ODI takes place at Taunton, one of England's traditional women's cricket strongholds, on Monday. We'll be back here with live text, TMS commentary and match highlights once more. Before then, the men are back in action against Sri Lanka at Edgbaston and Bristol on Friday and Sunday respectively.

Thus ends a day to remember for Lauren Winfield, Tammy Beaumont, Natalie Sciver and - I'm sure in no small part - for England coach Mark Robinson. You can relive a memorable game with the highlights clips on this page - but for now, it's goodbye from us.

  2. Captain's viewpublished at 17:58 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

More from England skipper Heather Knight: "I always say Nat Sciver is the Ben Stokes of our team and she was brilliant today.

"We’ll head down to Taunton and work on a few things, there is the ICC Championship to play for too so we need to be on our game."

  3. (Joint) player of the matchpublished at 17:56 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

How did you forget about Tuesday's golden duck?

England opener Lauren Winfield: It took a bit of a motorway drive and a lot of stewing last night. Fortunately today I came out and turned it round.

"It was really good to give a platform for the team. And for the others to come in and play like that, like Nat Sciver did. There was some extraordinary hitting there. We’ve done well today and we’ll enjoy it."

  4. ICC Women's Championship standingspublished at 17:55 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

Here's how England have risen to third in the ICC Women's Championship table. The top four qualify automatically for next summer's World Cup.

  5. (Joint) player of the matchpublished at 17:54 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

Tammy Beaumont: "It’s pretty unbelievable. There was a bit of faith to be at the top of the order and it’s paid off."

Lauren Winfield (who was out first ball on Tuesday): "The ups and downs of Lauren Winfield! It shows how quickly the game can change."

  6. Captain's viewpublished at 17:50 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

More from Pakistan captain Sana Mir: “I didn’t think we could chase that total down. The girls know it pretty well [what to do]. They have themselves lifted this team before. We know how to come back. These kind of games happen. They can happen with any team but we believe in ourselves.”

  7. Captain's viewpublished at 17:48 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

England skipper Heather Knight: "I didn’t think it could get any better than yesterday, but today was outstanding. We knew about the record and it was a nice thing to aim for.

"Boundaries is an area we’ve looked at, we were helped by the small boundaries but the girls still have to put the ball there. It was exciting and we want people to enjoy coming to watch us play."

  8. Captain's viewpublished at 17:47 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

Pakistan captain Sana Mir: “I think bowling has been our strength and we were off target throughout the 50 overs. This one we need to learn from.

“We need to practice well and I think England played brilliantly today. We need to adapt to conditions quickly. We have the potential to bounce back. I still believe we have a wonderful team."

  9. Player of the matchpublished at 17:45 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

Lauren Winfield and Tammy Beaumont have been jointly awarded the player of the match award.

Only previous time I can remember it being shared in this manner was the second England-Windies Test at Lord's in 1984, when Gordon Greenidge's breathtaking double hundred wasn't enough to earn him the sole award - it was shared with Ian Botham, who took eight wickets in the first innings (but was wicketless in the second).

  10. Watch: Shrubsole's fourth seals victorypublished at 17:41 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

And here's the final wicket of the day, as Anya Shrubsole's fourth wicket sealed a 212-run win.

  12. Watch: Knight's tumbling catchpublished at 17:32 British Summer Time 22 June 2016

Here's the penultimate wicket of the day for you to watch - a tumbling catch by Heather Knight, who retains her 100% win record as England captain.

"This is an excellent day for England. They have drawn a line in the sand. After a brilliant start yesterday, to see newer batsmen getting that opportunity and getting hundreds, Nat Sciver showing how destructive she could be. There's no doubt this team can continue on that success. It's just really exciting times."

  14. wicket

    WICKET - Tariq lbw b Shrubsole 2 (Pkn 166 all out)published at 47.4 overs

All over - Tariq's feet are set in concrete, and she's trapped in front by Anya Shrubsole, who finishes with impressive figures of 8.4-2-19-4.

England win by 212 runs, take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series, and take two priceless ICC Women's Championship points.

  15. Pkn 166-9published at 47 overs

Pakistan's last pair delay the inevitable for another over - and even with defeat looming, Pakistan have reached their highest score against England, the sides having met six times.

  16. Pkn 164-9published at 46 overs

Can Shrubsole finish it off this over? Teenager Maham Tariq is Pakistan's number 11, she's off the mark with a single but then plays and misses at the Somerset (and we should also say, Western Storm) seamer. Time to put your coat on and start packing away your sunhat.

    Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special

"On the improvement from Pakistan, in the past they'd have rolled over for under 100. This is them improving. They need to be harder on themselves. They need to push that 200 mark, show that intent, craft those innings."

  18. wicket

    WICKET - Yousuf c Knight b Shrubsole 1 (Pkn 162-9)published at 45.2 overs

A good diving catch by the skipper at short cover gives the vice-captain her third wicket of the day. This game is nearly done.

  19. Pkn 162-8published at 45 overs

Asmavia steers Cross for a couple, before guiding a four just wide of third man, but the runs are largely immaterial.

Five overs left, and one consolation for Pakistan is that this won't be their record defeat - they lost to New Zealand by 408 runs in 1977..., external

  20. Pkn 156-8published at 44 overs

Sadia Yousuf in at number 10. Doesn't look particularly handy with the bat, as a career ODI average of 2.71 indicates. But she survives for now.

It's a wicket maiden for Shrubsole - and with the required rate above 36, Pakistan officially need snookers.
