  1. Halfway stage for Derbyshirepublished at 19:40 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Derbyshire 67-5 (10 overs) v Notts

The halfway stage in Derby and it's not going too well for the hosts. Notts have done well to limit their batsmen, with Andre Russell taking his second wicket of the night after bowling Wayne Madsen for 15.

James Neesham isn't fazed, however. He hits a six soon after but Derbyshire are going to need a few more of those to stop the rot.

  2. Rushworth completes brilliant spellpublished at 19:39 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 125-8 (18 overs)

    Chris RushworthImage source, Rex Features

Chris Rushworth returns, somewhat surprisingly, for his final over and grabs his third wicket of the innings as Azeem Rafiq sends the ball high into the sky and the bowler takes the catch, as he finishes with 3-14.

Jack Leaning is still going on 42 but he is quickly running out of batting partners, as Jack Shaw is run-out for one after a terrible mistake in the middle.

WICKET Malan (c Tredwell b Stevens 60)published at 19:38 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Middlesex 100-1 (8.4 overs) v Kent

A four and a six by Dawid Malan off Darren Stevens brings up the hundred partnership with Brendan McCullum but that's his final contribution as he is brilliantly caught at point from the next delivery. Paul Stirling joins McCullum, who has 33 not out.

  4. Middlesex openers dominatepublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Middlesex 90-0 v Kent (8 overs)

Dawid Malan greets the introduction of Fabian Cowdrey with a four and a six, and a single later in the over takes him to a 30-ball fifty. Brendan McCullum ends the over with another maximum and this is starting to look very, very ominous for Kent.

  5. A 'fox' taking on the Foxes?published at 19:31 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Leicestershire 31-4 (8 overs) v Birmingham Bears

Recordo Gordon gets given the ball by Birmingham captain Ian Bell and goes for only two from his first over.

With the rain around, he has a towel flapping out of the back of trousers to keep the ball dry.

"It almost looks like he come in fancy dress, dressed as a fox," muses BBC WM's Richard Wilford.

  6. wicket

WICKET Bravo (st Cooke b Cosker 20)published at 19:31 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Surrey 81-7 (13.1 overs) v Glamorgan

A fine night for Glamorgan's Dean Cosker. He's just taken his 100th career T20 wicket thanks to some help from wicketkeeper Chris Cooke.

Dwayne Bravo is the man to go and Surrey are struggling to deal with Glamorgan's bowling line-up and look like they don't have a plan.

The T20 Blast South Group league leaders couldn't look more comfortable as it stands.

  7. wicket

WICKET Livingstone (lbw D'Oliveira 28)published at 19:30 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Lancashire 107-3 (13.1 overs) v Worcestershire

Ramp shots look good when they come off. This one doesn't and Liam Livingstone departs at Old Trafford after a stand of 38 in four overs with Alviro Petersen.

  8. Wickets fall at Chelmsfordpublished at 19:29 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Essex v Hampshire -2 (8 overs)

    Michael CarberryImage source, Rex Features

After a brisk start, Hampshire lose two wickets in two balls. Michael Carberry, who has some eye trouble early on, is stumped off Tom Westley for 34.

Essex grab their second wicket in as many balls as fellow opener Tom Alsop is caught off Dan Lawrence to bring Joe Weatherley to the crease.

  9. Notts coping against Derbyshirepublished at 19:27 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Derbyshire 43-3 (6 overs) v Glamorgan

Decent night if you're a Notts fan. Down the road at Edgbaston, England are 100 up without loss against Sri Lanka thanks to Alex Hales' half-century.

Meanwhile, Derbyshire have finished the powerplay three down and have had the wind taken out of their sails after Chesney Hughes was trapped lbw by Harry Gurney for 26.

Alviro Petersen brings up his first T20 Blast fifty of the summer by coming down the pitch and working the ball away through mid-wicket for a single. It has taken him only 38 deliveries, and Liam Livingstone celebrates the achievement by smashing two sixes later in the over.

  11. Birmingham strike againpublished at 19:24 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Leicestershire 25-4 (6.1 overs) v Birmingham Bears

Umar Akmal has wasted no time trying to get the Leicestershire innings moving following the restart, hitting Rikki Clarke for back-to-back boundaries.

But, from the first ball over the seventh over, the Foxes lose another wicket when Cameron Delpot strikes Mark Adair straight into the hands of Clarke.

  12. wicket

WICKET Bresnan (c Mustard b Coughlin 19)published at 19:22 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 102-5 (13.3 overs)

Commentator's curse! Paul Coughlin returns and removes Tim Bresnan who swipes across the line and sends a bottom edge to Phil Mustard behind the stumps.

Every time a Yorkshire batsman gets going, Durham nip in and grab a vital wicket. Fascinating game developing at Chester-le-Street.

  13. Bresnan clears the ropespublished at 19:17 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 101-4 (13 overs)

Tim Bresnan is not hanging around. He takes a liking to Scott Borthwick's bowling, sending the leg-spinner for a humongous six that went clear of the stadium before following it up with a four.

Jack Leaning, not wanting to be left out, finds the boundary ropes off the next over to take Yorkshire past the 100-mark in the 13th over.

  14. Malan starts aggressivelypublished at 19:16 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Middlesex 36-0 (4 overs) v Kent

    Dawid MalanImage source, Rex Features

Looks like Dawid Malan is in the mood again after making an unbeaten 53 off 28 balls against Somerset last night. A six off Matt Hunn and three boundaries take him to 20 off 16, with Brendan McCullum seeing less of the strike so far at the other end.

  15. Back under way at Grace Roadpublished at 19:15 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Leicestershire 15-1 (4.3 overs) v Birmingham Bears

The umpires and the players are back out in the middle at Grace Road, with Leicestershire having plenty of batting to do to set a reasonable target.

The weather forecast suggests we may not be out of the woods in terms of getting another shower, though.

    WICKET Brown (c D'Oliveira b Mitchell 17)published at 19:14 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Lancashire 69-2 (9.1 overs) v Worcestershire

Alviro Petersen belts Brett D'Oliveira over long on for six to move into the 40s, but Lancashire lose their second wicket at the start of the next over as a leading edge by Karl Brown gives Daryl Mitchell his first wicket. Liam Livingstone is next man in, fresh from a Championship hundred against Warwickshire.

  17. wicket

WICKET Burns (c Cooke b Meschede 22)published at 19:13 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Surrey 56-5 (8.4 overs) v Glamorgan

This is fabulous stuff from Glamorgan and Chris Cooke has got his fourth (yes, fourth) catch of the night and we're just nine overs into Surrey's innings.

Rory Burns hit three fours to add 22 runs in what looked to be a useful spell but Glammy have struck again to limit the damage.

Fortunately for Surrey, young bright star Zafar Ansari has come out. Will he make the difference?

  18. Steady start for Hampshirepublished at 19:12 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Essex v Hampshire 18-0 (3 overs)

It's a steady if not slighty slow start for Hampshire as Michael Carberry and Tom Alsop are yet to take too many risks.

Paul Walter was afforded the opening over of the match but has been replaced by Matthew Quinn.

  19. sun

Play to resume at Leicesterpublished at 19:08 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Leicestershire 15-3 (4.3 overs) v Birmingham Bears

Good news from Grace Road, where the rain has stopped and the sun is out.

It looks like we won't lose any overs either, for the time being at least.

  20. 6 runs

Costly start by Leachpublished at 19:06 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Lancashire 47-1 (6 overs) v Worcestershire

That's more like it by Lancashire as first Alviro Petersen, then Karl Brown, clear the boundary rope in Joe Leach's opening over, both of them superb shots. A stage is being constructed at Old Trafford for Rihanna's forthcoming show. Maybe the batsmen could take a leaf out of her songbook - shut up and drive.
