  1. Mistakes costing Yorkshirepublished at 19:05 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 69-4 (8.1 overs)

Deary me, Gary Ballance attempts to sweep Scott Borthwick but can only send the ball straight into the hands of wicketkeeper Phil Mustard to give the spinner his second wicket of the evening.

Tim Bresnan joins Jack Leaning at the crease with plenty of rebuilding required.

WICKET (Rutherford c Wessels b Russell 0)published at 19:03 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Derbyshire 4-1 (1 over) v Notts

Ouch. Derbyshire won't be pleased with that. Off just the second ball of the night, Hamish Rutherford is caught behind off the bowling of Andre Russell.

Neil Broom comes out to replace him at the crease. Notts will be happy to get one over their neighbours so early on.

  3. Walter starts steadilypublished at 19:03 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Essex v Hampshire 7-0 (1 over)

    Paul WalterImage source, Rex Features

We're under way on time at Chelmsford and Michael Carberry sends debutant Paul Walter to the boundary ropes off his second ball.

Not a bad start for the Essex bowler at all, just the seven conceded off his first over.

  4. Stuttering start for Surreypublished at 19:02 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Surrey 36-3 (6 overs) v Glamorgan

That's Surrey's powerplay over and you have to say Glamorgan will be the happier side.

Kumar Sangakkara had a nightmare at the crease, adding just two runs before Chris Cooke took his third catch of the night to further peg Surrey back.

The visitors have been trying to force as many boundaries as possible, but their aggressive batting style is costing them dear.

It rests on Rory Burns and Ben Foakes to seize the initiative.

  5. wicket

WICKET Lees (c Richardson b Borthwick 43)published at 19:00 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 61-3 (6.5 overs)

    Michael Richardson take a bow!

The Durham man takes an absolutely excellent diving catch on the boundary rope to get rid of the dangerous Alex Lees.

  6. wicket

WICKET Guptill (c Henry b Shantry 6)published at 18:58 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Lancashire 24-1 (4.1 overs) v Worcestershire

Jack Shantry drops marginally short, but Martin Guptill doesn't get hold of his pull shot and gives fellow New Zealander Matt Henry catching practice at short fine leg. The ball isn't really coming onto the bat and the solitary boundary so far by Alviro Petersen was an under-edge past his own leg stump.

  7. Lees continues fine formpublished at 18:56 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 53-2 (6 overs)

Durham must be wishing they had 11 Chris Rushworths in the side.

Alex Lees, who was in fine form during the County Championship match this week between the two sides, sends Usman Arshad for four successive boundaries as the Vikings race past 50 at the end of the powerplay.

  8. Lancashire make steady startpublished at 18:51 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Lancashire 14-0 (3 overs) v Worcestershire

No overs have been lost at Old Trafford following the brief rain delay and Lancashire have got off to a sedate start against Worcestershire. Alviro Petersen picks up two fortuitous runs from a leading edge as Matt Henry's opening over yields only three runs, while Jack Shantry permits no liberties at the other end with the keeper standing up to the stumps.

  9. wicket

WICKET Wilson (c Cooke b van der Gugten 6)published at 18:51 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Surrey 25-2 (3.3 overs) v Glamorgan

In Cardiff, 'the Steyn remover' as they call Dale Steyn these days, has worked his magic once more and Steven Davies is walking back to the pavillion thanks to a sweet Chris Cooke catch.

Kumar Sangakkara joins Gary Wilson at the crease but just four balls later, another wicket falls.

Timm van der Gugten does the damage this time as Wilson goes. Once again, Cooke takes the catch.

A mixed start in south Wales for Surrey.

  10. rain stops play

Rain stops playpublished at 18:51 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Leicestershire 15-3 (4.3 overs) v Birmingham Bears

No sooner has Kevin O'Brien trudged back to the dug-out, then, one ball later, he's followed by the other players as the rain starts to fall.

We're going to have a delay.

At 15-3, it's not looking good for the Foxes if Duckworth-Lewis comes into play.

  11. wicket

WICKET Williamson (b Rushworth 8)published at 18:49 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 34-2 (4.5 overs)

It's absolutely brilliant stuff from Chris Rushworth who has Kane Williamson in all sorts of trouble before clean bowling the New Zealand batsman.

Alex Lees had sent Paul Coughlin's first over for 22, including hitting a huge six over cow corner, but Rushworth has just pegged Yorkshire back.

  12. wicket

    WICKET K O'Brien (run out 2)published at 18:46 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Leicestershire 13-3 (4.2 overs) v Birmingham Bears

Birmingham Bears could not have wished for a better start at Grace Road.

Leciestershire's batsmen can't get any change out of Oliver Hannon-Dalby and Rikki Clarke and, after Mark Cosgrove chips Clarke to Laurie Evans, Kevin O'Brien then follows him back to the shed after being run out by Mark Adair's direct hit.

    Big trouble for the Foxes.

    Kent v Middlesex (19:00 start)

Middlesex have won the toss at Canterbury and chosen to bat first.

Kent must manage without batsman Daniel Bell-Drummond, their leading T20 run-scorer, because of a hand injury and all-rounder Matt Coles, but have Sam Billings back in their side.

Middlesex bring in Harry Podmore for England paceman Steven Finn, while Mitch McClenaghan's T20 Blast involvement is over because of a stress fracture of the pelvis. Brendan McCullum plays his final game before heading for the Caribbean Premier League.

  15. Mustard drops Williamsonpublished at 18:42 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 16-1 (3 overs)

Usman Arshad should claim the important wicket of Kane Williamson off the first ball of his over as he strangles the New Zealander down the leg side but wicketkeeper Phil Mustard shells the ball.

Despite the mistakes in the field, it has been a tight first few overs by the hosts at Chester-le-Street.

    WICKET Pettini (c Hain b Hannon-Dalby 6)published at 18:38 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Leicestershire 8-1 (2.1 overs) v Birmingham Bears

A good start for Birmingham Bears at Leicestershire.

Only eight come off the first two overs before Sam Hain takes a steepling catch at cover to remove home captain Mark Pettini off Oliver Hannon-Dalby's bowling.

  18. Delayed start at Old Traffordpublished at 18:35 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Lancashire v Worcestershire

A passing shower has prevented a prompt start at Old Trafford, but there are plenty of clear patches of sky around, and play is expected to get under way soon.

  19. wicket

WICKET Lyth (b Rushworth 4)published at 18:31 British Summer Time 24 June 2016

    Durham v Yorkshire 4-1 (0.4 overs)

We have our first wicket of the evening!

Adam Lyth is lucky to survive the first ball off Chris Rushworth as he drives the straight through Mark Stoneman's legs but he is bowled by the Durham paceman as he looked to tee off.

A big loss at the top of the order for Yorkshire. Kane Williamson walks to the crease.
