And that's about it from us - England's women now take on Pakistan in three Twenty20 internationals at Bristol (Sun 3 July), Southampton (Tue 5 July) and Chelmsford (Thu 7 July). TMS will have commentary on all three games.

Before then, the men are back in action on Wednesday as they play the fourth of five ODIs against Sri Lanka at The Oval. It's a day-nighter starting at 13:00 BST, and I hope you'll join us then.

Bye for now - and well played Tammy Beaumont.

Champagne moment (a literal one!)published at 17:32 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

Captain Heather Knight picks up the series trophy from Somerset CEO Guy Lavender after their 3-0 clean sweep.

And it's finally time for them to start spraying the champagne. Knight is completely and utterly drenched, while Danielle Wyatt does her best to make sure no-one escapes un-sprayed.

  6. Captain's viewpublished at 17:30 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

    'Different people have stood up'

England captain Heather Knight: "Captaincy is easy when the girls play like that! The pleasing thing is how many different people have stood up and contributed. It's exciting cricket to watch and hopefully it will be same going forward.

"There was a lot of change and talk about our batting order and I can't be more pleased how we responded. It was different tactics with bigger boundaries and we adapted well.

"Katherine Brunt bowled well and cleaned up the tail, and Laura Marsh did well too. Laura reads the game superbly and changes her pace up smartly as well."

Here's the second of those four clean-bowleds by Brunt - the unlucky batter being Sadia Yousuf.

  8. Player of the matchpublished at 17:25 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

England opener Tammy Beaumont: "I knew I was pretty close but I wasn't really thinking about Charlotte Edwards' batting record. Obviously I've been working hard since we got back from India. I've been batting well all season and not necessarily got the big scores but today it clicked.

"I started pretty slowly in my innings and credit to Pakistan as they came back with different plans so I had to change my game. The T20s should be an exciting series now and I'm looking forward to that."

  9. Captain's viewpublished at 17:24 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

Pakistan captain Sana Mir: "All credit to England for the way they have played throughout the series. if you're not on target, you will be punished. We knew the England bowlers are pretty good, it was difficult for us to chase such a big total and it was important for us to bat 50 overs which we've been unable to do.

"We've not been able to play a lot of one-day cricket, we're more into T20 and hopefully we can take the positives out of this sries and play well in the T20s."

    It's... Tammy Beaumont. Shock.

  12. Player of the match: presentation coming uppublished at 17:21 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

So, a rather straightforward choice for player of the match (and no doubt the series) in Tammy Beaumont.

But there were some other stand-out performances today, Georgia Elwiss, Natalie Sciver and Lauren Winfield all contributed with the bat, while Laura Marsh bowled well and Katherine Brunt's demolition of the tail was great to watch.

    Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special

"Katherine Brunt looks back to her best, bowling well and taking wickets and has variety as well.

"We've seen a lot from this England team over the past few games which we haven't seen in recent times which is really encouraging going forward.

"Mark Robinson is taking the team in the right direction. They are driving forward and hopefully take this form into the T20s now."

The England players leave the field to applause from the Taunton faithful, shaking hands with the beaten Pakistan players as they go. Plenty of hugs from the England non-combatants and coaching staff as they head towards the Andrew Caddick Pavilion.

  18. wicket

    WICKET - Iqbal b Brunt 16 (Pak 164 all out)published at 44.5 overs

Full, fast, straight, Iqbal has her stumps rearranged, Brunt has her first five-for since 2011 and England have won to sweep the series 3-0! Job done.

  19. Pak 164-9published at 44.3 overs

The hat-trick's gone, but the five-for (which would be her first since July 2011) is still on. Bowl straight at Amin, and she might get it. But the number 11 manages to edge a single to third man, to the bowler's frustration... Brunt only has three balls left of her spell.

  20. Pak 163-9published at 44.1 overs

Oddly, no close fielders in place - but the hat-trick ball is a loopy delivery outside off stump which Iqbal easily deflects away for a single.
