England captain Heather Knight: "It's been going well for us batting in the last few games so we want to go and put a total on the board.

"It looks like a great batting pitch. The other day was complete performance with bat and ball so it's about being consistent now.

"We've made one change as Alex Hartley comes in for Kate Cross to make her debut. Alex deserves a shot with her left-arm spin. She turns the ball and is a wicket taker so we're looking forward to her."

The TMS team spoke to England and Somerset seamer Anya Shrubsole yesterday - and she's thrilled to be playing on home turf:

"It's always nice to come to your home ground to play an international.

"I spent many a year down here at the Somerset academy, particularly Tuesday nights and Sundays I remember being in that indoor hall running up and down and doing all sorts of fitness stuff, and it definitely was huge in terms of getting me to where I am now."

  5. Who is Alex Hartley?published at 10:14 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

Except for devotees of women's county cricket, England's new cap Alex Hartley may not be a familiar name. She's a 22-year-old who was born in Blackburn, plays for Middlesex and will line up for Surrey Stars in the new Super League.

This piece on the CricketHer website, external last month turned the spotlight on her - praising her accuracy as a spin bowler, although noting that she'll be a number 11 bat at international level - and hinting that she may be more of a Monty than a Jonty in the field.

But they're thrilled that she's been called up.
