  1. Pak 34-3 (Maroof 7, Nawaz 6)published at 12 overs

A grunt followed by a stare from Brunt as she bends her back and sends down a vicious short-pitched delivery to Maroof. The Pakistan batter takes evasive action, and unruffled keeps out the subsequent yorker.

  2. Watch: Winfield's diving catchpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

This one is worth watching again. And again. A blinding catch by Lauren Winfield removes Javeria Khan.

  3. Pak 32-3published at 11 overs

It's all quite pedestrian from Pakistan at the moment. Maroof has eked out seven runs off 21 balls. The bookmakers would give you long odds on the tourists winning this one.

"No-one means to drop catches. But it's a pressure that these girls need if they're to be the best in the world."

  5. Postpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

    Henry Moeran
    BBC Test Match Special commentator

"Heather Knight has high standards, she took some blinding slip catches in the Ashes last year and she'd have expected to take that one."

  6. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 10 overs

    Pak 30-3

A thick edge from Nawaz off Brunt's penultimate ball of the over but Heather Knight drops a regulation catch at slip. Brunt crouches on the pitch looking not best pleased. That's two dropped catches by England today. Still room for improvement.

  7. Watch: Shrubsole takes Pakistan's first wicketpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

They're starting to tumble, but here's a look at the first Pakistan wicket to fall as Ameen is caught at mid-wicket.

  8. Pak 27-3 (target 367)published at 9 overs

Finally something for the Pakistan fans to cheer. Shrubsole offers too much width and Sidra Nawaz creams a beautiful drive through the covers for four to get off the mark in style.

Ex-England seamer on BBC Test Match Special

"That was some seriously aggressive bowling from Katherine Brunt, backing up a bouncer with another. She can sometimes get carried away with the short ball, but here she was right to go with back-to-back bouncers. You sense Pakistan feel uncomfortable facing someone like Brunt."

  10. wicket

    WICKET - Abidi c Jones b Brunt 2 (Pak 22-3)published at 8 overs

Pakistan might struggle to make a hundred at this rate. Nain Abidi attempts to pull a short ball from Brunt but fails to make clean contact and wicketkeeper Amy Jones claims the catch behind the stumps.

  11. 'Excellent reflexes'published at 14:55 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

    Isa Guha
Ex-England seamer on BBC Test Match Special

"Excellent reflexes from Winfield there. That ball was travelling very quickly. She took it two-handed as well and she will be absolutely delighted with that. That's something they've spoken about, wanting to be the best fielding team in the world."

  12. wicket

    WICKET - Javeria c Winfield b Shrubsole 7 (Pak 19-2)published at 7 overs

What a catch by Lauren Winfield! Javeria middles a Shrubsole delivery through mid-wicket but Winfield dives through the air to claim a fine catch. Winfield dropped a tough chance earlier in the innings but has more than made up for it there.

  13. Pak 17-1 (target 367)published at 6 overs

Left-hander Bismah Maroof is the new batter for Pakistan and she fends off a maiden over from Brunt. Not a lot of urgency from the tourists in pursuit of England's sizable total.

  14. Watch: Winfield drops tough chancepublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

Pakistan's fielding was disappointing again today - but this chance to Lauren Winfield at gully was a lot harder. Take a look.

  15. 'Lapse in concentration'published at 14:45 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

    Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special

"That's no foot movement. She kind of just prodded at it. That is giving the wicket away. What's been good about her game is how she's punched back a lot. There she kind of didn't offer too much. When you see shots like that that's I think a lapse in concentration."

  16. wicket

    WICKET - Ameen c Brunt b Shrubsole 9 (Pak 16-1)published at 5 over

Shrubsole strikes in her third over. To a full delivery, Ameen mistimes a clip through through mid-wicket and the ball dollies up to give Brunt a simple catch.

  17. Pak 16-0published at 4 overs

Brunt tightens a few loose screws on her bowling boots and then immediately oversteps the line and is penalised with a no-ball. But Ameen can't take advantage of the free hit.

  18. 'Fabulous effort'published at 14:36 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

    Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special

"I thought it was a fabulous effort from Lauren Winfield. I can tell, if Katherine Brunt was upset she wouldn't even have looked at Winfield. But as it was she went up to her and gave her a hug."

  19. Pak 12-0published at 3 overs

It seems Pakistan's sloppy fielding is catching. Alex Hartley, with a few nerves on her debut perhaps, lets the ball go through her legs at fine leg at it goes for four. Shrubsole does not look impressed.

  20. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 2 overs

Ameen drives at a wide delivery from Brunt and the ball flashes to Lauren Winfield at gully but she shells the catch. Brunt gives her a consoling pat on the back at the end of the over.
