Kevin Ticehurst: As I'm going out for a meal soon. I decided to put on your wicket alerts. Then Ali is out LBW. At least it works....

Richard Barter: Think it's about time Rashid comes into the team to replace Ali.

It almost seems like day-night cricket at the moment. Pakistan might need to find another spinner in order to stay out there. Swift single, Broad keen to get to Yasir's end, immediately beaten outside the off stump. Yasir grins. He knows Broad isn't picking him.

Umpire Dharmasena had a look at his light meter. It has got gloomier in the last few minutes, hasn't it?

Someone inside Lord's has been on the sauce. Mohammad Amir has returned and both of his first two deliveries are called "no-ball" by our whet-whistled watcher. Broad on strike, I wonder if Amir remembers taking one on the bonce earlier today. The field suggests he does - square leg back, short leg in. It's dark too. Broad survives, then has a word with the umpires about the light.

He's been a bit unfortunate Moeen Ali, as it looked like it was going wide.

It's been brilliant from Yasir Shah. Flight, dip, turn and control. At times, England have surrendered, but he's twirled them into submission, all watched by the Yoda-like figure of Mushtaq Ahmed. He celebrated his haul by kissing the Lord's turf. Stuart Broad the new man. England need him to dig in.

Yasir is on the honours' board. He appealed his heart out. It was a sort of Robin Jackman-esque appeal. England have lost a wicket they could ill-afford. It's the sort of decision when they try and lessen the safety net for the umpires, that one shouldn't have been given out.

You know what, Moeen Ali can count himself very unlucky here. Umpire's call for both point of impact and if it would have hit the stumps. Very nearly outside the line, very nearly missing the leg stump. As it is, he's gone, England are in trouble and Yasir Shah is the first leggie to take five at Lord's for 20 years.

An impassioned appeal wasn't it from Yasir?

One of those ones you'd never get given in the old days.

Yep, I think I would have reviewed this. Moeen Ali given out sweeping. Long old wait for the finger. If this stands, Yasir has five...

I've seen people putting on coats. It's uncharitably cold for this time of the year.

Mohammad Amir gets loose as Rahat Ali induces what looks like an edge from Woakes. Well short of keeper Sarfraz Ahmed. It looks to be getting quite a lot darker, so the chances of us making it all the way to 18:30 have to be in doubt, even with the floodlights on.

I thought he got into a nice rhythm there Shah. The batsmen were in two minds all the time. It just gets a bit easy to pick, bowling from the Nursery End.

Yasir Shah, Lionel Messi with a belly, comes round the wicket to Woakes, looking to rip the ball across the right-hander with the aid of the slope. Silly point lurks in the Lord's gloom. Woakes resists the temptation to kick it away. Good period this. England still can get level, but another wicket might end that ambition.

Watching a nervous England team trying to play spin is like watching your children ride a bike with stabilisers for the first time. Deep inside you know they are not ready for it, their feet and hands are all over the place and you know that at any second it’s going to go horribly wrong and end in tears.

The loudest roar in some time as Moeen swivels on a hook to take Rahat Ali to mid-wicket for four. Of the four Pakistan bowlers on show, Rahat has been by far the least impressive. In the crowd, John Emburey sports a navy blazer and a sky blue shirt. Liked a swear, Embers. His sartorials are matching the air when he talks.

Yasir's thinking 'I can join Misbah on the Lord's board. And I can do that by removing the other guy who's on the board in Woakes'.
