Andrew: Well deserved tribute for Aggers on TMS after 25 years and 300 tests. Congratulations and here's too many more. The master.

Will Mottram: Congratulations to Aggers on commentating his 300th Test Match. Always enjoy listening to his commentary on TMS.

Whatever happens on the field isn't your doing. Like Stuart Broad not walking. Maybe journalists can get too close to players - I walk my dogs with Stuart - but I told him straight. I thought he cheated.

People always wonder about my relationship with Geoffrey Boycott.

On the radio it is a bit bickery but I have a genuine affection for Geoffrey - it's not easy.

You can't help but admire him. He will highlight a weakness in a batsman within a few minutes and I really admire that he is never late and has always got something to say.

My first memory is walking into the old box at Headingley. I saw Blowers and he said his one piece of advice was to be myself. I went into the commentary box and there was an old boy stooped over a box of cake boxes. It was Brian Johnson.

I hadn't really listened to TMS when I played cricket. If I had done I would have been anxious. I heard it as a kid when my dad was a farmer. Then there was a big 15 year gap. I was able to go in very relaxed.

My England career was a disaster. Once you've played for England and you know it's not going to happen again then it's time to move on.

I was very lucky that this job came up. The Today newspaper sent me off to do all sorts and said go away and write about it. The first of these 300 Tests was working with them. Without them I would be here sitting talking to you.

Now then, TMS have decided that Aggers can't interview himself ("you probably want to", says Simon Mann), so they have a very special guest... Sir Michael Parkinson.

But James Vince and Gary Ballance have taken England to lunch. Vince in particular has looked in good touch, reaching 41 from 46 balls.

Chasing 283, England made a pretty poor start. A good delivery to get Alastair Cook, then some loose strokes from Alex Hales and Joe Root. Three wickets to Rahat Ali.

While TMS pays tribute to Aggers, we can also remind you of what happened this morning, including England wrapping up the Pakistan second innings in only 13 deliveries this morning.

Right then, it's well worth sticking TMS on during the lunch break. There's something in store for Jonathan Agnew, who is marking both his 25th year as BBC cricket correspondent and his 300th Test on the airwaves.

Lunch has come at the wrong time for England. They've got to start again after the break. It's a great Test match, one of the real great games. We'll be talking about it for a long time.

The crowd are appreciating, willing these two batsmen on. The game is not done, not by any means. Pakistan are very strong favourites.

  20. Lunch - Eng 90-3published at 13:02

England get to lunch without further losses, but it's been Pakistan's morning. The players head to lunch with the match still in the balance, albeit with the scales just tipped towards Pakistan.
