That's about it - time for us to wish you a good night, but only if you promise to set your alarms for 04:45 BST when TMS will return to the airwaves for the first Test between England's men and Bangladesh in Chittagong.

On behalf of Alan and myself, thanks for your company during the women's series, it's been a topsy-turvy series but we hope you've enjoyed it. Sleep tight.

  4. Why England should qualifypublished at 21:58 British Summer Time 19 October 2016

And here's why I reckon England can (pretty much) start booking their hotel rooms for next summer's World Cup on home soil:

    • They only need to win one game from three against Sri Lanka, the bottom side in the table, to put themselves out of reach of SA and India
    • Even if England lose all three in Sri Lanka, SA would need to win all three games against all-conquering Australia - and vastly increase their net run rate - even to draw level with them
    • Even if England lose all three in Sri Lanka, India could only overtake them by winning all six remaining games against Pakistan and West Indies - while that Pakistan series looks unlikely to happen for political reasons

England collect the ODI series trophy from Jamaican Sports Minister Olivia "Babsy" Grange - there's already been plenty of champagne sprayed around, and I'd suspect there will be more to come...

  6. Player of the seriespublished at 21:55 British Summer Time 19 October 2016

Stafanie Taylor's wickets and runs, Lauren Winfield's runs and Alex Hartley's wickets all get a mention on the shortlist - but it's a joint award for Alex Hartley and Stafanie Taylor.

  7. Player of the matchpublished at 21:55 British Summer Time 19 October 2016

England left-arm spinner Alex Hartley: "It's always nice bowling in these conditions and it's nice to get the ball to turn."

On the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka:

"Nothing different, play the way we've played out here and hopefully dominate them."

  8. Captain's viewpublished at 21:53 British Summer Time 19 October 2016

England captain Heather Knight: "We're really chuffed, we came into the game with a bit of a point to prove, but the bowlers were outstanding as they've been all series, and to show that fight we did was excellent. Alex Hartley did so well with 13 wickets, Laura Marsh was brilliant as well and the bowling was great throughout the series.

"Next summer is going to be one of the most open 50-over World Cups there's been, so it's great to be at home, although we haven't guaranteed it yet, we need one more win."

  9. Captain's viewpublished at 21:53 British Summer Time 19 October 2016

West Indies skipper Stafanie Taylor: "I know that today we had to do both things right. With the batting, we didn't capitalise. Starting from there, we kind of messed up."

On choosing to bat first at the toss:

"What you do first, you've got to do it well."

On the upcoming ODI series against India:

"It's coming down to that. We know those games are crucial and we have to do better to get the points."

  10. ICC Women's Championshippublished at 21:47 British Summer Time 19 October 2016

While we wait for the presentation, a quick look at the ICC Women's Championship table:

    1. Australia (Q) - Played 18, Points 30
    2. England - P18, Pts 23
    3. W Indies - P18, Pts 22
    4. New Zealand - P18, Pts 20
    5. S Africa - P18, Pts 17
    6. India - P15, Pts 13
    7. Pakistan - P15, Pts 8
    8. Sri Lanka - P18, Pts 5

(Teams get two points for a win, and play 21 games)

  11. Player of the matchpublished at 21:44 British Summer Time 19 October 2016

Player of the match may be an interesting call - but despite that fifty from Nat Sciver, I'd give it to Alex Hartley, who must be (with Stafanie Taylor) a contender for player of the series.

    Lydia Greenway
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special

England have shown a huge amount of character. Everyone in this series has played their part. There have been little turning points in individual's careers, like Lauren Winfield playing consistently.

A sign of a good team is showing consistency in all different kinds of situations and I'm sure they will want to carry that on when they go to Sri Lanka.

Well, it wasn't easy. It wasn't pretty at times. But after four successive "win toss, bat first and win game" matches, England have wrapped up a series win.

And more importantly - it means they're only one win away from clinching qualification for next summer's home World Cup. More on that in a little while.
