  1. drinks break

Drinks break - Eng 64-2 (target 156)published at 19 overs

Afy Fletcher again and Knight gets one, bringing Sciver on strike. She gets off the mark as a sprawling Shaquana Quintyne makes a total mess of what should have been a routine stop, allowing England to add two more.

Fletcher throws one up but Sciver can't pierce the field. She can with a sweep though, that's a very welcome four. A frustrated Fletcher punches her first as she concedes seven for her fifth over, having allowed only three from her first four.

Time for drinks. England need 92 from 31 overs, just under three an over.

England bowling coach James Kirtley on TMS: "Fletcher has been West Indies' go-to bowler to dry the runs up throughout the series, turning the ball away from the bat with a lack of pace makes scoring all the more difficult."

  3. Eng 57-2published at 18 overs

Stafanie Taylor brings herself on and concedes just one from her first over.

England were 39-1 after nine overs. The figures for the last nine overs are 17-1.

Initially it looked as though she had hit it into the ground, but Fletcher's taken a good catch there, and Beaumont was making it look easy in these conditions.

  5. Eng 56-2 (target 156)published at 17 overs

Lbw shout against new batter Sciver but the umpire isn't interested. Wicket maiden for Fletcher who now has figures of 1-3 from four overs.

Tammy Beaumont can't believe it. Once more, she's got a start but can't continue. You just get the feeling that the tension will remain high for the rest of this innings.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 16.1 overs

    Beaumont c & b Fletcher 34 (Eng 56-2)

Having got in, Beaumont has given it away, chipping a return catch to Afy Fletcher, who sticks out her right hand and holds on.

Fletcher had a decent amount of time to take that catch. Nat Sciver in next...

  8. Eng 56-1 (target 156)published at 16 overs

Knight punches through the covers for two off Mohammed, who looks the least threatening of the West Indies spinners. Three more singles added and England need exactly 100 from the remaining 34 overs.

  10. Eng 51-1published at 15 overs

Knight chops a single to bring up England's 50. Fletcher varying her pace and line; teasing, testing stuff.

One more to Beaumont as England accrue two from the over.

  12. Eng 49-1published at 14 overs

Tammy Beaumont releases the shackles, going down the track to Mohammed and lofting down the ground for four.

England then nearly give away another wicket via a run out as they try to pinch a quick single from a Beaumont sweep - Knight would surely have been doomed by a direct hit.

You can just see the way the West Indian team look a little more interested when Fletcher's bowling, as she's made England look more uncomfortable. If Heather Knight wants to go over the top, I think hitting over mid-off - with the spin - is probably the better option.

  14. dropped catch

Knight dropped by Mohammed on 3published at 13 overs

    Eng 43-1 (target 156)

Risky from Heather Knight, trying to go over the top and it bounces in front of mid-on.

Even riskier! She sweeps Afy Fletcher, a chance for Anisa Mohammed as she dives forward but she can't hold on.

    The tension is increasing.

  15. Eng 43-1published at 12 overs

Anisa Mohammed brought on by Stafanie Taylor, who surely should be thinking of giving herself a bowl soon.

Two from the over as West Indies have applied the brake to England's scoring rate in the last few overs.

Fletcher looked a bit of a threat there.

  17. Eng 41-1published at 11 overs

Spin from both ends now as Dottin is replaced by leggie Afy Fletcher. No, no, no.... not again. Get back! Phew... Heather Knight and Tammy Beaumont threaten to contrive yet another England run out as they both make plenty of progress down the wicket before thinking better of an ill-conceived single. Remember, the tourists lost five wickets in that fashion on Sunday.

Another single off that over as one keeps low from Fletcher.

What England need from Tammy Beaumont here is not a pretty 30 or 40, but an ugly 80 or 90.

I was sharing a room once with Laura Marsh in South Africa when Heather Knight and Sarah Taylor had filled our toilet with bananas from top to bottom. There were about 30 in there.

Stephan Shemilt adds: That's a terrible waste of bananas. Bananaman would be livid.

  20. Eng 40-1 (target 156)published at 10 overs

    Beaumont 24, Knight 2

HUGE turn from Hayley Matthews that totally bamboozles Beaumont, who isn't far away from deflecting on to her stumps. Something to get the spinner interested.

Just a single to Beaumont off that over as Knight defends positively.
