  1. Ban 283-9 (Target 310)published at 46 overs

What a stunning late rally this has been from England and a truly remarkable collapse from Bangladesh, who are now clinging to the edge by a fingertip. The home side pick up a couple of singles. Ball looks absolutely knackered. Can Rashid finish it off to save the Notts man from one more over?

Shafiul run out Rashid 0 (Ban 280-9)

Make that five wickets for nine runs.

It's not a proper collapse until you've had a farcical run out, and here we go. Shafiul smashes the ball to mid-off and runs. Rashid swoops in, takes aim and clatters the stumps. He's out by some way, and the stadium drops even quieter. This has been some collapse.

  3. Ban 280-8published at 45.2 overs

Bangladesh were 271-4. They've lost four wickets for nine runs. Extraordinary. Ball looks exhausted and yet he's still running in, and he's stuck a slip in for good measure. There's a appeal for a run out, and we're going upstairs...

  5. Ban 280-8 (Target 310)published at 45 overs

Huge wicket. Just huge. What can we expect from this tail? Well, Hossain's highest ODI score is eight, Shafiul's, though, is 24. Can he club them to the win? Some of the supporters don't think so. They are leaving the stadium.

Maybe they are right to. Rashid pins Shafiul to one end for six scoreless balls. He can't pick him.

Kayes st Buttler b Rashid 112 (Ban 280-8)

This has gone horribly wrong for Bangladesh. Kayes comes down the pitch to Rashid, who throws it wide. So wide in fact the umpire has his arms out. Kayes charges, misses and it's supreme work from Buttler to whip the bails off. Kayes can hardly believe it. Neither can the crowd, who are starting to leave their seats.

    Ban 279-7

The ball is pitching way outside leg so we stick with the on-field decision.

  8. Umpire reviewpublished at 44 overs

    Ban 279-7

Jake Ball is blowing hard now. The tank is almost empty. Every run getting cheered. Ball goes up after smashing the ball into Mosharraf's pads with a full ball. The umpire shakes his head but such is the situation, England opt for a review...

  9. Ban 276-7 (Target 310)published at 43.3 overs

It's eerie how silent the stadium has gone. Ball is waving his arms around, directing the fielders, as Kayes taps his bat. A wide first up brings cheers from the crowd, before Kayes steals a quick single. Mosharraf blocks and then ducks under a short ball that slants across him.

England showing good experience at the death with the ball. Good move from Buttler to bring back on Rashid who is a wicket-taker and can be dangerous against the lower order batsman.

  11. Ban 274-7published at 43 overs

Silence in the stands, nerves in the middle, England with a spring in their step. This game has taken a big turn. Can't take your eyes off it for a second.

Mosharraf Hossain fails to get a run off his first ball.

    Mortaza c Butter b Rashid 1 (Ban 274-7)

Game on. Mortaza picks Rashid's wrong 'un, but he steps back to cut the next ball. It's too short and Mortaza, trying to run it down to third man, can only edge it through to Buttler. There's a loud appeal, umpire Erasmus raises his finger, and that's that. Out.

  13. Ban 274-6 (Target 310)published at 42.3 overs

All the focus is on Kayes now. He is the man tasked with guiding his side home. He'll be hopping all the way as well.

Rashid tosses a tempting delivery up for Mashrafe Mortaza, but the new man keeps himself in check and nabs a single.

  15. Ban 271-6published at 42 overs

That's a belter of a delivery to finish the over with. Ball slams in a short ball and Mashrafe has to do a good old fashioned sway to get out of the way.

  16. Ban 271-6published at Hat-trick ball

Right, can Ball get a hat-trick on his debut? Rashid offers some words of advice, as Ball lines up the ball. In he runs. It's a good length, angling in, and Mashrafe jams his bat down to keep it away from his stumps. Ball's currently got figures of 4-40.

    Mosaddek b Ball 0 (Ban 271-6)

Well, well, well. Does this game have a late dramatic twist to throw our way? Jake Ball makes it two in two as Mosaddek Hossain drags a short ball on to his own stumps. The Notts bowler has a chance of a debut hat-trick!

    Shakib c Willey b Ball 79 (Ban 271-5)

A crucial breakthrough for England. Shakib goes for one pull too many and slaps the ball straight into the hands of Willey at midwicket. Ball now has three wickets on debut. But is this too little, too late though for England?

  19. Ban 271-4published at 41.2 overs

Kayes has some more treatment on his cramp. He's determined to channel Steve Waugh and win this game on one leg. Shakib's sticking to his mantra of go hard or go home as he pulls a Ball delivery through the leg side. There's sweat dripping off both batsman's helmets, and now Shakib's hands have cramped up! The umpire assists with a little bit of stretching.

  20. Ban 265-4 (Target 310)published at 41 overs

Only wickets will do now for England. Bangladesh have plenty of time. The lack of pressure to hit boundaries will diminish the chances of wickets falling. Shakib chips over extra cover for two and then keeps strike with a single. Easy.
