  1. Ban 82-2published at 21 overs

    204 runs required

Mahmudullah has hurt England in the recent past. He was the man who scored a century in the game that ultimately cost England their World Cup place in 2015. He gets off the mark with a chip to leg. One over left before lunch. Take your eyes off this game before then. Go on, I dare you.

Just got through the shot too quickly, if he'd waited a fraction he might have been able to put it away. The thing for Bangladesh now is that it is not easy for a new batsman to get in on this wicket. If England can squeeze a third wicket before lunch they will be back in the driving seat.

Silence in the stands. A huge moment as Imrul's attempted sweep to Rashid sends the ball looping up for slip Joe Root to catch behind Bairstow. A very dangerous man departs.

Last time Stuart Broad was the fifth bowler was back in 2009, but that was a fairly famous occasion when he knocked Australia over with 5-37

Kayes has a brilliant ability to pick up anything on his legs, Broad has got to tighten his line.

  7. Ban 81-1published at 20 overs

    205 runs required

Another change of bowling. Stuart Broad is in to the attack. His first ball is flicked past short leg for a single. Every run getting cheered by the home crowd now. They sense something special happening here. They are cheering even louder next ball as Broad slings one down leg that catches the pad Imrul and runs away for four byes. And they are out of their seats when the same batsman flicks off his legs through mid-wicket for four. Costly.

  8. Ban 71-1published at 19 overs

    215 runs required

Following on from Dan's point... If England had two reviews remaining would they have gone for the lbw from a couple of overs ago and thus claimed a second wicket? Moot point maybe but these are the kind of moments that alter the course of a finely balanced game.

Adil Rashid is into the game, replacing Woakes. He almost has a wicket as well as Imrul swipes to leg and sends the ball high but just short of Woakes at deep mid-wicket.

The over ends with a big lbw shout but did the ball pitch outside leg? No, he gloved out. Either way, it is not out.

Joe Root's catch that wasn't given out, that has to have been an umpire review rather than England losing one. Firstly they conferred after England said they had caught it, then there was a signal. Secondly, the order in which the review took place, they checked the cleanliness of the catch first and only then did they check for the edge. If England had referred the first thing you would do is check the edge so that has to be an umpire review - and if it is, it is another error from umpire Dharmasena.

Bangladesh, give them their credit. I said this morning if they could get to 50-60 with maximum one down they would think this target is very do-able and they are there.

  12. Ban 67-1published at 18 overs

Mominul is warming to this task now. He drives off Moeen past Duckett at cover for four. England really struggling to stem the flow of runs.

Ian Bradley: Two dreadful DRS decisions by England this morning, wrong side of equation both times.

  14. Missed review chancepublished at 17 overs

    Ban 61-1

Short and wide from Woakes. Gets what it deserves as Imrul flashes and sends the ball aerially away for four through third man.

That big appeal from the over before? If England had reviewed it, it would have been out. Ball didn't pitch outside leg and was clocking leg stump.

  15. Ban 57-1published at 16 overs

Better over from Moeen who finds a consistent line outside off to keep Mominul at the striker's end. Bairstow offers a big lbw shout to the last ball, which is full but possibly pitching outside leg. The umpire is unmoved.

I thought England had this this morning but with the positivity from Bangladesh and they bat down to number eight so you never know. The new ball is starting to lose its fizz and it could settle down quite nicely for Bangladesh.

  17. Ban 57-1published at 15 overs

    Mominul 11, Imrul 30

The first seam of the morning comes from Chris Woakes, replacing the ineffectual Gareth Batty. There is some frustration boiling over for England. Ben Stokes is furious as he and Ben Duckett clash attempting to prevent a quick single. If I was Duckett I would keep my head down and walk away quickly. Plenty of cutters in that over. Three runs off it.

We saw one keep very low and it's going to get harder for the batsmen, but as a spinner you need to be patient, you can't pick up a wicket in every over, you just have to force the batsmen to be uncomfortable.

It is frenetic stuff. England are striving for wickets but are losing their rhythm while Bangladesh are going on the attack. Imrul lofts a full ball from Moeen over extra cover for four. Superb shot. This innings has a one-day feel about it.

It's not going to be easy to bat well but you also need to stay positive and if you can keep the scoreboard ticking you will put the pressure back on the bowlers because it is not a big target.
