England have to find a way to counter these spinners. Duckett has some pressure on him after that dropped catch and a run of low scores.

I think Bangladesh have enough and they have a serious chance of picking up their first Test victory against England. The first 30 odd overs with the new ball will be crucial.

Here come Cook and Duckett. It will be trial by spin, no doubt. England need 273 which will be their highest successful run chase in Asia. Bangladesh need 10 wickets for the greatest victory in their team's history.

There's a case for sending the batsmen out in a different order because Mehedi has tormented Cook, and Duckett to a lesser extent. I wonder if they should get a right-hander out there.

  6. England need 273 to winpublished at 07:14 Greenwich Mean Time 30 October 2016

England have been three down for next to nothing in every innings during this series and simply cannot afford the same again. Vic Marks on TMS suggests a change in the order could be a solution...

If England win this match it would be one of the greatest fourth-innings performances of all time because the ball is turning and bouncing. England can't possibly bat at the pace Bangladesh did.

A top-class spinner will be licking his lips to get out there. You will always get a ball you can't defend, you just need to get control but England never did that.

After a very disappointing morning with four dropped catches and poor reviews, England have blown the tail away. But Bangladesh have scored 296, the highest innings score in this series. England will need 273 to win. A very tough ask.

Kamrul c&b Rashid 7 (Ban 296 all out)

Kamrul tries the big slog again and his innings comes to an end. He lobs the ball back to Rashid for a simple caught and bowled. Rashid, after waiting almost until lunch for a bowl, has picked up four wickets.

Tom Potter: Looks like England had a word with themselves at lunch!

Matt Wilkinson: Please bat with positivity. Nothing worse than whimpering to 150 all out over 2 days. At least excite us if u lose England

This is the best I've seen Kamrul bat - not that there's a lot of competition!

  12. Ban 293-9 lead by 269published at 66 overs

Wow. No fourth duck for Kamrul as Moeen Ali replaces Stokes and the tailender heaves him over the boundary for six! Huge cheers around the ground from the locals. They liked that. Kamrul fancies himself as a batsman now, taking a single from the penultimate ball of the over but another follows for Hom so the latter will keep the strike.

That was one of the more eccentric maiden overs I've seen. A massive long hop, a full toss and on both occasions the batsmen decided not to run.

  15. Ban 285-9 lead by 261published at 65 overs

A big googly from Rashid spits and kicks and hits Hom on the back and goes all the way to fine leg for four leg-byes. Worrying signs for England with a run chase to come. Hom turns down a couple of singles in that over trying to protect Kamrul but can't get a run off the final ball and the new man will start the next over on strike.

  16. Ban 281-9 lead by 257published at 64 overs

Shuvagata Hom slashes Stokes through the covers for four off the first ball of the over. A single next ball brings new man Kamrul Islam on strike. The number 11 is in danger of becoming the first man to be out for a duck in his first four Test innings.

Prabhanjan Badami: Is it possible that England's warm-up leg in Bangladesh has already left them gasping ahead of an arduous India tour ?

Arsh Hubil: Quiet confident, if batsman named Rain bats till 5th day for England, they will salvage a draw.

Mark Sargeant: Rashid may go for a few but he gets wickets. That's why we play him, not to hold an end up. To complain about that is daft.

He was trying to hit that back towards our hotel! That was a simple catch. I think England must have had one hell of a rollicking at lunchtime.

  19. wicket

    Mehedi c Root b Rashid 2 (Ban 276-9)

Mehedi charges down the wicket and tries to hit Rashid out of Dhaka. He only succeeds in edging the ball to Joe Root at slip however. England are mopping up the tail quickly here.
