Maybe the dew is having an effect. The bowler is rubbing the ball frantically. He needs to take his time here.

England have got real ticker these days. They'd have been 280 all out in any other era.

Morgan scampers two then turns four round the corner.

This is good cricket. Minimise the spreadsheets and emails - stick with this for the next 20 minutes or so.

    I wouldn't say England have a sniff - maybe a whiff.

Parveen Goyal: Modern-day cricket match isn't over until the last ball. Good fight by Morgan. India need to finish the game soon.

Liam Plunkett swings through the line and hammers four back down the ground.

Plunkett was hit outside the line of off stump. He's fine. Carry on.

Liam Plunkett hit on the pads. Finger goes up. It's reviewed.

I think he's outside the line here.

    They can't, can they?

That was an example of Plunkett working out what Kumar was going to bowl. 63 off four overs sounds unlikely but it's possible.

  13. Eng 319-7published at 46 overs

    Need 63 from 24 balls

Superb fielding from Bumrah sees the bowler extend his Go-Go-Gadget arms to limit England to a single just inside the circle. Liam Plunkett ends the over with a slog for four through cow corner.

  14. Eng 314-7published at 45.4 overs

Eoin Morgan scrambles a single, then clobbers a full toss through the covers for four.

  15. Eng 309-7published at 45.2 overs

    Need 73 from 28 balls

India's death bowlers have not only taken wickets, they've somehow managed to keep dangerman Eoin Morgan off the strike. Two dots frustrate Liam Plunkett.

In the last 26 balls, Morgan has faced six of them.

  16. Eng 309-7published at 45 overs

Need 73 runs off 30 balls

Liam Plunkett - the man with the widest shoulders in world cricket - swings his mighty levers and edges four down to third man.

England look cooked now, though. The horse has bolted.

Good thinking by Bumrah with the slower ball. It was the back-of-the-hander and it was difficult to pick up because he has such a fast arm. Clever disguise by the Indian bowlers has picked up key wickets.

Slower ball. Big swing of the bat. Bowled.

Chris Woakes doesn't last long. More skilled death bowling from India.

Chris Woakes is no mean batsman. He's had a great day with ball - he can cap it now with a quick 30.

  20. Eng 304-6published at 44.1 overs

Chris Woakes marks his arrival to the crease with a booming cover drive for four.
