TMS have just played an excerpt from an interview Heyhoe Flint gave to BBC Radio 5 live last year and she ended it by saying: "The inspiration for me is to see England women's cricket on Sky television, on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra and column inches. It really is an inspiration for me."

Former England all-rounder and a team-mate of Heyhoe Flint's Enid Bakewell tells TMS: "I am devastated. Without Rachael, England women's cricket wouldn't be where it is now.

"I think she hit the first six in a Test match by a lady and she was a good leg-spinner as well.

"Her captaincy was supreme. If nothing was happening, she would move someone in the field and something would happen.

"We all loved her to bits."

I just feel privileged to play the game she did. She paved the way for all of us.

More from Clare Connor on Rachael Heyhoe Flint: "Her legacy is that she has given women's cricket a place in our sport and sport generally it wouldn't have if it wasn't for her, her humour, her charm and her kindness. You don't meet anybody whose face doesn't light up when they talk about Rachael."

  5. Connor 'mentored' by Heyhoe Flintpublished at 12:20 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2017

ECB director of women's cricket Clare Connor, a former England captain herself, says: "I am one of those who Rachael paved the way for, so I could play for England, play at Lord's and be an MCC honorary life member.

"I wouldn't be in the position I am in now and doing the job I'm doing if it wasn't for Rachael. I was mentored by Rachael."

Thanks, Stephan. Looking at it positively, we know England have the firepower to score more than 380 but, realistically, are they going to do it chasing, against India, in India, with the crowd baying for wickets?

Anyway, we can worry about that in a little while. For now, TMS is paying tribute to former England women's captain Rachael Heyhoe Flint after her death yesterday at the age of 77. Let's pick out some of the best bits...

Right, I need a lie down. Here's Alan Jewell.

More from Yuvraj Singh: "The whole domestic season I've been batting really well. Even in the last game I played well. I said 'the way I'm hitting the ball, I think I'm going to score great'."

On MS Dhoni's 134: "Great innings, he is the most experienced batsman in our team and he has been a sensational batsmen for India."

On how they will approach defending 381: "These days nothing is a big total. It depends on how we bowl and the dew factor."

  9. Postpublished at 12:10 Greenwich Mean Time 19 January 2017

Yuvraj Singh, who scored 150 off 127 balls: "It was probably one of my best innings, that's my highest score in ODIs. I'm very happy that I played a good innings."

Asked what the aim was when he and MS Dhoni came together, he says: "Just try and get a partnership, they bowled very well in up front. Just wanted to play down the ground and not take much risks."

England might take some heart from the Cuttack dew, which we're told will make the ball as slippery as an eel. Straws, clutching?

India added 120 in the final 10 overs and 214 in the final 20. 350 is the new 250.

A very large total for India after being 25-3. They fought hard and knew exactly what to do with the two wise men in the middle, MS Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. For England, Chris Woakes was the pick. He looked to be smart and chose to bowl the bouncer at the right times but, as a team, they weren't able to get the key breakthroughs.

  13. Ind 381-6published at 50 overs

All over. England's torture is complete. To win this match they will have to complete their highest successful runchase in ODIs. India, remember, were 25-3!

Even better. Mid-off up in the circle. Lean back to loft over the rope.

  15. Ind 375-6published at 49.4 overs

This is some shot. Fetched by Jadeja in between long-on and mid-wicket for four.

Hardik Pandya gets cute with a ramp, but it's only a single.

The torture is nearly over for England.

  18. Ind 370-6published at 49.2 overs

Woakes is bowling to his field. Full and wide. Single to third man.

  19. Ind 369-6published at 49.1 overs

Chris Woakes has bowled in a different game to the rest of the England team. First ball to Ravi Jadeja, squirted for a couple.

Just a heads-up that TMS will be remembering former England Women's captain Rachael Heyhoe-Flint during the interval. The team will be joined by Clare Connor and Enid Bakewell.
