    Hope c Finn b Rashid 31 (WI 108-4)

Good catch from that man Steven Finn! He leaps forward with all the elegance of a fish out of water, sticks his mitts out and snaffles the ball up from the turf. That was the googly from Rashid, I think, and it's worked nicely.

Jason Mohammed was not a fan of that review. So much so that he decides to dish out two consecutive fours. The first is cut past Woakes at backward point and the second is given a bit more brute force as he pulls Ali onto the leg-side and through to the boundary.

I've been impressed with Hope. He's playing some stylish shots and looks quite organised.

Going down leg. Got an inside edge. Waste of a review from England.

  5. England reviewpublished at 23.1 overs

    WI 98-3

England have called for a review. There was a huge appeal from Moeen Ali against Mohammed. At first glance it looks like it is going down leg. It just doesn't look out. But may be wrong.

  6. WI 98-3published at 23 overs

    Target 297

Shai Hope gets one foot plonked down the wicket but he can only push the ball back to Adil Rashid. Rashid changes his speed, going slower, before spearing in the googly. Hope gets just enough on it though to nab a single, the slow wicket allowing him to adjust ever so slightly. Just a handful of runs from the over.

It was never going to be easy on a pitch like this. It's not conducive to stroke play. It takes some time to get adjusted to the pace of the pitch. These two players really need to build a foundation. One of them has to get a century if they want to be within a chance of getting near this total.

  8. WI 94-3published at 22 overs

    Target 297

These two batters are looking quite settled at the moment as they continue to rotate the strike. Ali tries a different tactic as he goes round the wicket but it's more of the same. The odd single as the overs tick by. Four from it.

I think Adil Rashid is bowling on the leg stump because the wind is dragging it down there.

  10. WI 90-3published at 21 overs

    Hope 28, Mohammed 21

Adil Rashid is struggling to find his line here, with too many balls dipping down onto the leg stump. A straighter delivery is worked away for a single, before Shai Hope sweeps straight to Eoin Morgan. It all feels rather sedate, especially with the outfield being so slow. Still, that's the 50 partnership up for this pair, from just 56 balls.

I think Moeen and Rashid are bowling a little too flat, too quickly. A little slower will force the batsman to go over the top.

  12. WI 84-3published at 20 overs

    Target 297

Moeen Ali continues. Just like his counterpart at the other end, he delivers a wide ball which goes for four. Another boundary from Jason Mohammed after Sam Billings' sliding stop doesn't quite work out with his body touching the rope.

The England spinners can't quite get their line right at the moment and this partnership reaches 45 from 52 balls.

  13. WI 74-3published at 19 overs

    Target 297

So it is indeed Adil Rashid. He throws down a loosener first up, which goes for a wide down the leg stump. Another wide one follows, which this time gets the treatment it deserves from Hope and is hit to the fine-leg boundary for four.

Rashid seems to finds his line ... but not for long, another wide down the leg side. Eight off the over but it could have been more.

20 years to the day, my good lady wife and I were getting married just about now in Curtain Bluff, Antigua. Just off out to celebrate those 20 years of bliss (sic). I'll need to play it canny to have one eye on score and two eyes staring lovingly into hers over a candle lit slap-up!!

There's a strong breeze in Antigua and it's starting to look a bit darker out there. We've been fortunate not to have any rain since the delay at the start of the match.

Mohammed and Hope look content in taking the odd single here and there.

Adil Rashid looks to be warming up - if he is coming on then he'll have to wait, as a drinks break is taken.

I'm a big fan of Liam Plunkett. He bowls at close to 90mph and has often been Eoin Morgan's go-to bowler.

  17. WI 63-3published at 17 overs

    Target 297

The West Indies pair go for a quick single. A shy at the stumps from the fielder at cover goes through for a potential overthrow run but the the batsman were too far gone.

Liam Plunkett is bowling well today as he goes for just three.

The pressure continues to build. All the England bowlers at the moment are giving nothing away. Three quick wickets and the West Indies have found themselves under tremendous pressure.

  19. WI 60-3published at 16 overs

Time for some more spin as Moeen Ali makes an appearance with the ball. Just two singles conceded.

This is Ali's 50th ODI cap - a regular in all formats, he's a real integral part of the England set-up.

  20. WI 58-3published at 15 overs

Shot. Shai Hope even takes a moment to freeze and admire his own glorious off-drive, which races through to the long-off boundary. Seven from that Plunkett over.
