A mini wobble here. I'd say England are alright but they will want to cut it out now.

    Stokes c Hope b Bishoo 1 (Eng 113-4)

That is excellent bowling from Devendra Bishoo! There's turn, Ben Stokes took a step to the side to cut, but there was more of angle to it than he expected. A feather edge goes through to Shai Hope, who takes a smart catch stood up to the stumps. Stokes chunters furiously as he walks off. This has got quite interesting.

50 for Joe Rootpublished at 21.2 overs

    Eng 113-3

Chants of "Rooooot" are going round the Sir Viv Richards Stadium, as the batsman jogs a single to bring up his half-century. A very nicely constructed innings. It's taken him 63 balls to get there, with three boundaries. There's a raise of a bat and nod of the head from Root.

Absolutely cracking story from Twitcher, there.

In a club match at Instow, Devon in 1996 my teammate Duncs dropped Chris Rogers. Rogers went on to score 149 not out, win the match for North Devon against the Strollers by 1 wicket and play for Australia. We've never let Duncs forget it.....

    Target 226

Ben Stokes is the next man in, a slip lurking behind him. He gets off the mark with a darted single, while Joe Root moves his feet around. He sweeps, but to no avail, before he gets up on tiptoes to shovel a single into the covers.

I felt it wasn't a very strong use of the review but well done to West Indies. It was a decent ball from Nurse. A rare moment of light for West Indies, a bit of hope, maybe.

    WICKETpublished at 20.1 overs

    Morgan lbw b Nurse 7 (Eng 108-3)

And indeed, it's hitting the stumps. It's umpire's call, but it's been given out on the field. Off the England captain goes. A hint of desperation about that review.

No inside edge on that, and it looks to be going on to the stumps...

Oh, I reckon that is out. Eoin Morgan plays all around a straight one from Ashley Nurse and he's given out lbw. Morgan doesn't look sure, he has a chat with Root, and then makes the T-sign. We're going upstairs.

Matt Warmington:  First game for new team (barely played for 10 years) and I shelled the catch that would have given the skipper a five-fer

LancsLad:  Indoor Cricket in Singapore, bowling, the batter wallops it back to me at speed, a bust finger, but good batting performance

Another over of spin passes us by. A nice cover drive from Root adds three more to the scoreboard. West Indies look like they are going through the motions, they need something special here.

20 overs gone, I will now hand you over to Amy Lofthouse.

  13. Eng 102-2published at 19 overs

Root works it across the line for a couple. The 100 is up for England and the required rate has gone back to under 4 runs per over.

Root and Shai Hope share a joke - these past two games have been played in good spirit.

  14. Eng 98-2published at 18 overs

Ooh that turned a bit. Root looks to sweep a ball which spins sharply and into the keeper's gloves. It was too wide to ever trouble him, mind you.

Just three runs from that Bishoo over, all credited to Mr Joe Root.

The players take a well earned drinks break.

Why don't you go get a cuppa, but make it quick.

  16. Eng 95-2published at 17 overs

Morgan and Root do what they do best, wait for ball to come onto bat and find the gaps as England continue to pick up singles.

A slight scare for the skipper as Nurse finds the edge of the bat but the ball falls just short of slip.

Mixed feelings about the way Jason Roy got out. I do like his intent. He's changed the shape of his game by the way he's gone about being aggressive today. He's had a sprightly innings and he's shown England are that step above today.

  18. Eng 92-2published at 16 overs

Nice from Morgan who gets off the mark with a strike down to cover for two. Five from the over.

There's a lame attempt of a Mexican wave going on by the crowd. Sort it out, either commit or don't do it at all.

Jason Roy has put a good shift in. Enter captain Morgan at four.

He didn't need to go for that big shot, to be honest. He was scoring so easily and quickly. He simply gave it away. It's a soft dismissal.
