WI 45-6published at 16.4 overs
A nice delivery on off-stump from Liam Plunkett, and Carlos Brathwaite jabs his bat straight down on it. No hat-trick for Plunkett but West Indies are in a real mess.

Liam Plunkett is on a hat-trick, and it's England's old friend Carlos Brathwaite to face the hat-trick ball...
Holder c Buttler b Plunkett 0 (45-6)
Another one! Jason Holder goes to his first ball! Just pushing forward to Plunkett, the ball kisses the edge and it was a simple, tumbling catch for Jos Buttler. This is dreadful from the West Indies.

There have been three of the simplest catches you'll ever see in this innings. Root could have almost caught that in his mouth, it was so slow. This is turning into a rout.
Hope c Root b Plunkett 16 (WI 45-5)
In a completely unexpected turn of events, a batsman has chipped the ball up to square leg and been caught. That's terrible. The ball from Liam Plunkett was drifting down leg, it went slowly and Hope just chipped it up for Joe Root to take the catch.

There are so many big names missing from this West Indies line-up. There is very little inspiration.
WI 45-4
And that will be drinks. A time for everyone to regroup, and West Indies to work out how to dig themselves out of the hole they've found themselves in.
Target 329
Spin time! Here's Moeen, turning his arm over while a chicken pecks its way along the boundary. That'll be four to Shai Hope, the batsman heartily whipping a wide delivery away. Joe Root stands like a foghorn at slip, yelling encouragement, as Moeen tightens his line up for the rest of the over.

Ben Stokes reminds me a lot of Freddie Flintoff with his pace and his attitude. I used to love battling with Freddie. A lot of history there.
The camera lingers on a couple of spectators in the crowd with the heads at 45 degrees, fast asleep. Slumbering in the sun with West Indies crawling along to 40-4 at the 15-over mark. Just the 289 needed from this point. It's looking unlikely.

Len : This series has made me realise how poor West Indies are without Chris Gayle. A shadow of their former best
Good pace from Ben Stokes, who almost beats Jonathan Carter with a good yorker before a short ball goes whizzing past. The final delivery is a good length and Stokes finds Carter's outside edge, but Jos Buttler can't stretch that far across and the ball runs away for a boundary. Double teapot time for Stokes.

When it rains, it pours. You can't put the magic spray there. I think he'll be OK - he has a daughter already!
Plunkett 2-1-3-1
Jonathan Carter is very much back on his feet and lets the final ball of the over fly through to Jos Buttler. There's a rueful grin on his face.
Really not sure what the physio can do in this situation, other than offer a few words of comfort and try not to burst out laughing.
Jonathan Carter has been welcomed to the crease by being smacked in the most painful place possible. An inside edge has left him crawling about in genuine discomfort. The physio has arrived while everyone tries to hide the massive smirks on their faces.

A good delivery. Liam Plunkett is a genuinely quick bowler so you have to get forward and play tight. Mohammed played loosely and paid the price.
Mohammed b Plunkett 10 (WI 32-4)
Bowled 'im! That felt almost inevitable. Quick from Liam Plunkett, the ball just angling in, and Jason Mohammed left a big ol' gap between his bat and his body. It was far too easy for the ball to sneak through and knock the bails clean off.
Stokes 2-1-2-0
A bouncer from Ben Stokes, and Jason Mohammed tries to hook it and ends up swiping at nothing. Decent pace from Stokes though, Jos Buttler taking the ball at head height. A nice mix of pace throughout the over from Stokes keeps the batsmen in check, just two singles added to the total.

I remember my debut Test match and Brett Lee saying he was going to break my ribs - but in not those words. I loved it, it turned me on. He bowled me a low full toss and I whacked him over his head. All this TV and technology, you can't say anything - it's like you're playing in a church!
