  1. WI 30-3published at 11 overs

    Target 329

A double change for England, with Liam Plunkett replacing Steven Finn. There should be plenty in this pitch for Plunkett, given the bounce that Finn has managed to find so far. Jason Mohammed so nearly falls into the same trap as the rest of his team-mates, trying to work the ball off his pads and instead sending a leading edge ballooning up into the air.

At three down the thing is to get to a good, respectable score. Being bowled out for 100 is embarrassing. Fight hard and fight deep.

  3. WI 27-3published at 10 overs

    Mohammed 9, Hope 5

Here's Ben Stokes, replacing Chris Woakes. Big fan of rhyming cricket names. And there's a stunner in there two, a delivery that rears off a length and beats Jason Mohammed's tentative push forward. A gentleman in a fetching shell bikini watches on approvingly.

  5. WI 27-3published at 9 overs

    Target 329

Some nice shots on display from Shai Hope, but they're not finding their way to the boundary. Steven Finn is still getting the odd delivery to rear up, though, and twice Hope has to yank his bottom hand off the bat to keep his fingers out of harm's way. Finn ends the over with what is commonly known as a snorter, and Hope gets his hands and body out of the way in extravagant fashion.

That's a gorgeous cricket shot, Mohammed giving himself a little bit of room.

  7. WI 23-3published at 8 overs

    Woakes 4-0-9-2

Shot! Short and wide from Chris Woakes and Jason Mohammed smashes it away to the boundary. Think that was an attempted slower ball from Woakes but he got his angles all wrong. Woakes responds with a peach of a delivery that beats Mohammed's grope forward, and the batsman settles himself back down to defending.

  8. WI 19-3published at 7 overs

    Target 329

Swing and a miss from Shai Hope. He's aiming for somewhere in the crowd and ends up looking a bit daft as he swats at fresh air, nearly spinning off his feet with the ferociousness of the hoick. England's close fielding has been excellent so far and Eoin Morgan spurs his side on with a nice diving stop of his own, as Hope settles down to some cautious defending.

Hope and Mohammed have been the standout West Indies batsmen in this series. They've got an opportunity and time here, but Finn's got his tail up.

  10. WI 19-3published at 6 overs

    Mohammed 5, Hope 1

Ben Stokes has a big yawn at slip as Chris Woakes readies himself to start another over. This is excellent stuff from both bowlers, the duo finding their lines and keeping the West Indies quite. Shai Hope works the ball off his pads, despite a muted yelp for lbw, before Jason Mohammed blocks the final delivery.

  12. WI 18-3published at 5 overs

    Finn 3-0-14-1

Short, sustained, aggressive stuff from Steven Finn and Jason Mohammed doesn't quite know how to deal with it. He lets the first one rear up on him. The second delivery he swings hard at and gets a top edge that flies away for a welcome boundary. The rest of the over is defended away, quite sensibly.

  14. WI 14-3published at 4 overs

    Target 329

Eurgh. Jason Mohammed decides he'll take on his first ball. He ends up slicing it up into the air, it flies down to third man, and ends up dropping just short of Liam Plunkett, who had come haring in from the boundary. It's safe but that is not a clever shot to your first delivery.

That's a terrible shot. It's a mirror image of Evin Lewis' dismissal. This is atrocious batting.

There was nothing venomous about that delivery from Chris Woakes. Nothing at all. It was just a lazy flick off his hip from Kraigg Brathwaite and it was easy, far too easy for Alex Hales.

Awful. Utterly, utterly awful. Kraigg Brathwaite has just repeated Kieron Powell's shot and it's had exactly the same result. Up into the air and an easy catch for Alex Hales at square leg.

  18. WI 11-2published at 3 overs

    Finn 2-0-10-1

Short again from Steven Finn, Kraigg Brathwaite toe-ends it, and it's quick work from the main in the deep. Adil Rashid darts forward and watches the ball drop just in front of him as the West Indies nab a single. Superb stuff from Finn.

  19. WI 10-2published at 2.3 overs

Steven Finn is leaning back, knees bent, begging with the umpire as he strikes Kraigg Brathwaite on the pads. That was a little fuller from Finn and Brathwaite played around it, but it looked to be sliding down leg side. This is excellent from Finn; a short, fast delivery beats Brathwaite and Finn is convinced that it's hit something on the way through. No, says the umpire.

It seems like the West Indies openers are out of their depth really, doesn't it?
