  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 2 overs

    Hendricks c Plunkett b Curran 0 (SA 11-1)

Tom Curran will be loving it even more now!

Again he is quick and skidding and Hendricks chips a simple catch to Liam Plunkett at mid-off.

Brilliant start. That arms out celebration will become Curran's trademark. He's at it again.

  2. SA 11-0published at 1.5 overs

Curran bustles in to Reeza Hendricks and catches him on the hip with a quick delivery pitching back of a length.

This is a good start from the 22-year-old. He looks full of confidence after his three wickets last week, like he is loving being on this stage.

Sue: England let down by middle order again. Excellent death bowling from SA, though. They'll deservedly win the series.

  4. SA 8-0published at 1 over

    Target 182

David Willey found a hint of swing in that opening over but didn't manage to trouble the batsmen.

The crowd are a little subdued, perhaps after that stuttering finish from England.

It'll be Tom Curran, who was so impressive last week, to start off at the other end.

England lost their momentum a bit but their score is par and South Africa will have to play well to chase it down.

  6. SA 5-0published at 0.2 overs

No time to rest. South Africa need 182 to win.

    Here comes David Willey.

The left-armer starts with a wide before another delivery that is leg side-ish which clips JJ Smuts' pads and goes for four.

    Not the best of starts.

Lovely to see Malan doing so well in an England shirt after watching him play brilliantly for Middlesex for so long!

    England 181-8

But, after Malan was out, England's middle and lower order stuttered badly - despite 31 from Jos Buttler from 22 balls - with a few questionable shots thrown in as well.

In all fairness South Africa's death bowling was excellent. They've pulled themselves right back into this when 200 looked possible.

Without a doubt Dawid Malan was the star of that innings.

He hit 78 from 44 balls on debut and gave England a great platform...

  11. 'My legs were shaking'published at 16:16 British Summer Time 25 June 2017

Dawid Malan, who scored 78 on debut, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was awesome. I definitely wasn't expecting that. It's always nice to contribute and get a score under your belt. I din't think the debut would happen.

"My legs were shaking first ball so I got the old school leave out, then I tried to do what I do best. Early on, I thought 170 was a good score and then we got a bit of momentum. Five or six more in the last over would have been good but you take what you get."

Without doubt, England's standout today was Dawid Malan. He played with freedom, quick hands and he built his innings perfectly. Towards the back-end he was aggressive and inventive.

  13. England score 181published at 16:14 British Summer Time 25 June 2017

What do you make of that?

England will be a little disappointed after stumbling badly towards the end. They were 127-3 after 13.3 overs when Dawid Malan was out.

The debutante says "you take 180" as he's interviewed on Sky.

    Will it be enough though?

A brilliant final over and a great exhibition of death bowling from Dane Paterson, but England will be reasonably content with the score they have set South Africa.

  15. Eng 181-8published at 20 overs

    Brilliant finish from Paterson.

Just two off the final over. England finish on 181.

  16. Eng 180-8published at 19.5 overs

Here's Paterson's second hat-trick delivery of the innings - and Tom Curran just avoids nicking behind! An ambitious scoop shot there but, more importantly, it's another dot...

  17. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.4 overs

    Willey b Paterson 1 (180-6)

This is quite brilliant death bowling. Full, straight and Willey has no answer.

Paterson is on a hat-trick again.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.3 overs

    Buttler c Smuts b Paterson 31 (Eng 180-7)

Buttler gone! The stand-in captain tries to go big - he has to - but he ends up tonking the ball high into the air. Backward point jogs forward to take the catch.

  19. Eng 180-6published at 19.2 overs

Slapped flat from Buttler but he can't beat the cover fielder.

    He turns down the single.

  20. Eng 180-6published at 19.1 overs

It's David Willey that's on strike to Dane Paterson, and he taps a yorker away to get Buttler back on strike.
