This morning, I would have bowled Anderson from the end where he got wickets yesterday. I'd have bowled Broad, Moeen, then Anderson. With the wind in the right place, you only need one to offer a little bit to the tailender.

Lucky folks, lounging on beaches. Anderson sends down a beauty that rises just over the top of Morkel's stumps as the batsman leaves, arms hoicked high above his head. That's another lovely delivery, Morkel on the front foot to defend but a thick inside edge trickles just beyond the stumps. England's bowling at tail-enders is often infuriating to watch, but this is good from Anderson, bowling at the stumps, as Morkel edgily sees out another maiden.

Broad continues, bowling slightly back of a length, and Olivier is forward to push ball after ball to Anderson at mid-on. Anderson shines the ball and has a quick conflab with Broad, who whizzes down a bouncer that Olivier works nicely away from his body. Dawid Malan, the unlucky fella in at short leg, does well to dive and grab the ball, and Broad responds with another bouncy delivery that thwacks Olivier on the thigh. A maiden.

There's a hint of away movement as Anderson bowls to Morkel, who prods at the first few deliveries. Morkel drops the ball down to mid-wicket and sets off running in a stilted sort of manner, looking like a wind up toy with the battery running down, and Jennings comes charging in to pick up the ball. His shy at the stump misses, though, and Olivier is able to slide his bat home. The same man then angles his bat nicely to run the first boundary of the morning down to third man, as Stokes tries to flick the ball back in and ends up knocking it onto the ropes.
There's a big round of applause at Old Trafford as James Anderson takes off his jumper. He'll be bowling from the Brian Statham End, with the tall figure of Morne Morkel waiting at the other end.

Stuart Broad, bowling from the Anderson End, gets Duanne Olivier to poke at a lovely delivery that moves away from the bat. Olivier gets down low and the ball clonks into the bat as he solidly defends the final ball.
Plenty of clouds overhead as Stuart Broad paws at the ground. He's got three balls to complete his over from yesterday, after he dismissed Kagiso Rabada.

You absolutely bowl James Anderson his morning. And Joe Root will, because he's still scared of Jimmy Anderson! He'll look after him until he retires, and then he can take control!
Yeah, you might be England's leading Test wicket taker, with 484 scalps to your name - but that doesn't mean you're immune to your team-mates terrible jokes.
Anderson took all four of his wickets yesterday from the end bearing his name, but that didn't stop his compatriots from having a bit of a dig.
"There is a lot of mickey taking from the lads," he told Test Match Special.
"It's odd, a bit surreal, difficult to describe but it's a huge honour."
