  1. WI 47-3published at 19 overs

    Anderson 10-4-17-2

James Anderson, a wicket and a run-out to his name, gets a delivery to nip back into Roston Chase, who inside edges onto his pads and narrowly avoids chopping on. This is much better from England this morning, tightening their line up, and Anderson strikes Chase on the pad to round off the over. Sliding down leg, probably, but that's an excellent over from Anderson. A maiden.

Two wickets in the first two overs of the day. Dearie me. After the West Indies looked so settled last night, it's all gone pear-shaped this morning. It's down to Shai Hope and Roston Chase to do the rebuilding

That wicket was a bit of gift. The first wicket was a tricky ball, but that was just poor judgement.

Powell run out (Anderson) 20 (WI 47-3)

Gone! And gone by a distance! Oh, that was an awful run. He basically pushed it and went ambling down the wicket, no real urgency, and James Anderson came sprinting across from mid-on to throw down the stumps. There was no dive from Powell, just a lazy attempt to run his bat in. Out.

  5. Umpire reviewpublished at 17.5 overs

    WI 47-2

Oh, has Powell gone now? The batsman takes a quick single, pushing the ball down the wicket, Anderson swoops in and throws down the stumps. We're going upstairs again...

  6. Not outpublished at 17.1 overs

    WI 45-2

Umpire's call! If 50% of the ball has to be clipping for the decision, then 49% of that delivery was hitting the leg stump. Broad looks as thrilled as you'd expect as he stomps back to his mark with a quick shake of the head at the television screen.

It could be just clipping the stumps...

There's no bat on that. It's struck Powell low on the pad, but is that sliding down leg?

  9. England reviewpublished at 17.1 overs

    WI 45-2

Here's Stuart Broad, and he unleashes an almighty appeal first up as he strikes Kieran Powell on the pad. Broad thinks it's out - mind you, when doesn't he? - and we're going to have a review.

It really surprised him. It jumped up and almost hit the handle of the bat. There's a little bit of spice in the wicket, the rain may have caused some movement.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17 overs

    K Hope c Stokes b Anderson 25 (WI 45-2)

Hello, that bounced! That seemed to kick up out of nowhere. It was a decent length ball from Anderson and it looks as though the ball hit something on the pitch and reared up out of nowhere. The bounce surprised Hope, who took a step back, and the ball kissed the top of the bat and went flying straight to Ben Stokes at gully.

Today's final session will now run from 19:30 to 21:30, with a potential 30 minutes to fit in any remaining overs, which means we could still be playing at 22:00.

That's academic right now, though - Joe Root has just led his side back on to the field, followed by Kyle Hope and Kieran Powell. Ben Stokes has just mimed throwing the ball at James Anderson's face. Anderson's ignored him. Not in the mood for messing about, clearly.

The Super Soppers are whizzing around the outfield and getting a cheer from the crowd for their hard work. This is the liveliest crowd I've heard so far - it is a Saturday, I suppose.

  16. Glamorgan's record wicket-taker Don Shepherd dies aged 90published at 13:47 British Summer Time 19 August 2017

Some sad news to bring you - former Glamorgan bowler Don Shepherd has died at the age of 90.

He is the leading wicket-taker in Glamorgan's history, having taken 2,174 wickets in a 22-year career. His career total of 2,218 first-class wickets is the highest achieved by an England-qualified player never to play Test cricket.

England could just do with some batting practice, frankly. They'll be desperate to have some of those top-order questions at least part way solved before they get on the plane to Australia.
