    Dowrich b Broad 5 (WI 115-8)

Test wicket number 384 for Stuart Broad as he goes past Ian Botham, and he gets a standing ovation from the man himself! That was a lovely delivery, nipping back and beating Dowrich as he attempted to shovel it off his hip. There was a big gap between bat and pad, and Broad didn't miss. He shakes hands with all of his team-mate before lifting the ball up towards his dad and sister, who are watching in the stands.

West Indies will improve their performance in the series, but will they will improve enough to push England? I can't see that happening.

Dowrich hustles to the side and cuts Moeen square for a couple. The camera pans to my favourite fancy dress of the day - a group of fellas wearing bowler hats with light bulbs on top, which are glowing pretty nicely now the night is drawing in. Four byes are added to the total as a low delivery sneaks past Kemar Roach's forward defensive and rolls through Bairstow's legs and down towards the boundary.

    Broad 8-2-34-2

Broad, arms and legs pumping, comes racing in, and Roach edges through gully for three. Another wicket will take him past Botham as England's second-highest Test wicket-taker. Anderson is, of course, number one with 491 scalps. Shane Dowrich turns a delivery off his hip for a single, before Roach sees out the remainder of the over.

Broad, speaking to TMS this morning, wasn't overly enthused about the pink ball. I assume he'll have changed his mind now?

Looking at the replay, that was a superb catch at slip by Cook. It was going low and quick to his right and Cook dived to get two hands to it. Still not quite as good as Broad's celebrappeal - not my term, sadly - when he trapped Chase lbw, mind. Moeen carries on going about his business, quickly whizzing through a maiden.

Every available man is around the bat as Broad steams in. Ooh, and it's a good delivery, straight into Kemar Roach, a hint of movement - and Roach gets behind it and chops down on it to keep it off his pads!

Kemar Roach is taking his time. He's stretching his arms about while Broad and Root shuffle the field around.

Can Broad go past Botham? And do it with a hat-trick?

    Holder c Cook b Broad 0 (WI 104-7)

Edged and caught at first slip! Two in two. Broad will be on a hat-trick. It was an absolute beauty from the England man. It held its line, or maybe even nipped back slightly, and went into the hands of Cook who took a great catch low down to his right. This could be all done very, very shortly.

He knew. He went off and just waited for his mates. It was funny in a way - not for the batsman. England will polish them off - simple.

Broad didn't even bother appealing - he just rushed off to celebrate.

Chase lbw Broad 24 (WI 104-6)

Plumb, no need for even a conversation about a review. Stuart Broad gets one to keep low and Roston Chase can't read the bounce (or lack of) and is trapped in front. I think even the West Indies will want this to finish tonight now, why prolong the pain?

More and more kids in West Indies focus on Twenty20 cricket. They see T20 played around the world. Some of their best players not playing in Test, playing Twenty20 and earning fortunes - and they follow suit. Basic techniques for Test cricket don't pay as much money.

Joe Root directs traffic around for a bit while Moeen blows on his hands. He tosses it up and Chase flicks the ball away for a leisurely single, before Dowrich takes a step to the side to cut and just about avoids edging through to Bairstow. These deliveries from Moeen are keeping low fairly regularly now.

Moeen speared that delivery in a touch fuller, because he saw Blackwood coming. In fairness, the folks in Birmingham city centre could have seen that shot coming. Shane Dowrich is the new man in but he's watching from the other end as Roston Chase gets cut in half by successive deliveries from Broad. It's like he's lost sight of the ball slightly, and he sees out a nervy over.
